Considering Freeze brought you over from 'Zam right after I switched to vBulletin, I think you were. We had a couple moves throughout that year due to the user influx and constant issues with the hosts.

The only switch I can find is an on/off setting (which opens/closes the entire site), unless I go to every single forum and set them read only. Even then, parts of VR still modify the database.

All right. If anything, I do hope that it goes smoothly. Last thing anyone would want is to have Victory Road disappear off the face of the planet because of some kind of catastrophic failure that also wipes out all redundancies.

File uploads have been disabled to prevent the file system from changing. They'll be re-enabled after the move.
Also, for any previous VRIM users, this is your absolute last chance to request room logs. If I don't receive your message within the next 10 hours, your messages will not be saved. Last edited by Cat333Pokémon; March 16, 2014 at 03:50:10 AM. |

All of the static sites have been moved to the new server. In fact, Victory Road has partially moved too. That was the purpose of the file system lock. We just have one critical thing left to move: the database. Once this massive file has been transferred, Victory Road should be restored. It may take several hours after then for the site to appear, however, because of the way DNS propagation works (that is, for your Internet provider to receive the information of the new location of "victoryroad.net").
