What is Minecraft art you ask? Why, it is art made using the popular sandbox game Minecraft! I've recently bought the game, and the idea of spriting on a massive scale seems very compelling. Here is my art...

Heh, the first time I played classic I built a giant Mario sprite :3

Then, of course, I didn't know how to use the different coloured cloth >_>

Now, Kaz, I issue you a challenge. Do this, but in Alpha!

Thank you all for the positive feedback! Thanks to Thanksgiving vacation, I can do a few more bits of work, which will naturally be uploaded on this thread!

O____O wut. I would have considered it, but Alpha doesn't have colored cloth, so making certain sprites would be difficult.

Well its basically a sandbox-style game, where there is no true objective, and you are let on your own. There are two modes: Survival, and "Classic." Survival is a bit more difficult, since you have to work for materials and stay alive as night comes and monsters appear, while in Classic you are given every type of block and can build whatever your heart desires. Classic mode is free, even!

That looks like a pretty good attempt considering you're still a beginner at what you're doing. That being said, I'm sure it will improve in the future.

Exactly. You'd also have to mine and craft all your materials! Mwahahahah!

But seriously, I want to see you give it a shot. Use a simple sprite, like the original SMB Mario (I made that on Classic before I discovered you could use B to open the materials menu :3)!

Oooh of course! I was wondering what to do anyways...

Thank you TRDRS, and to Nin, Diglett is finished! Sadly, I had to ignore the challenge part of it because I want these things to look as good as possible, and not using felt proved to be a little debilitating.

B: Making sprites on Windows 7 paint is hard to do.
