Minecraft Seeds
With the Beta 1.3 update, you can choose your own map seed (the thing that generates the map) in Minecraft. Some of these look amazing (Try "Glacier"), some have epic secrets (Try "404") and some are plain evil (Try "3666440496532277820")
In this thread post any awesome, epic, challenging or weird seeds you happen to find in Minecraft! I've got three that were originally found by people on the Minecraft Forums: 404 - Type "404" as your seed, and search for a beach with a large pit of gravel. Stand in the center of the gravel and dig a single block out, and watch in amazement and you plummet into one of the most amazing cave complexes in Minecraftia. 3666440496532277820 - Set your difficulty to Easy if you want to have any chance of surviving more than 20 seconds. I've seen a lot of cool overhangs with seeds, I think the one I used on my single player was "Bob" or something o3o
