Default Victorydex (The Floatzel.Net Pokédex)

A while ago, I started work on the Victorydex, which is the Floatzel.Net Pokédex. It is based on the Veekun database (like most other Pokédexes, including the Crystal Islands 'dex). Due to the new data and different organization in the newest version (which is still not complete), I will be restarting the Pokédex project from square one. Well, I will actually be keeping a bunch of stuff. I'll just have to change how things work. This time, I think I'll pull you folks in for the ride so you can see my progress.

Here is the old Pokédex in its current status:
http://floatzel.net/pokemon/pokedex

Use the dropdowns or type a name in the box. Or type a number. Or type a Japanese name. If you misspell a name, the search system attempts to find the closest 15 matches to your results in names and moves. There is some move information, some data redundancy, and lots of stuff missing. At least the evolution families work.

However, because I'm restarting, the current status is that I have a layout for the Pokédex and some code to manage some parts. or the most part, it doesn't work. I will be saving this project for Spring Break, which begins March 25 for me.

The old Pokédex looks really neat for me, but I have the following points:

- The dots beside the moves make things look a bit messy, and also confuse the viewer. I recommend finding a better representation.

- When a Pokémon's name is typed wrong, and the 15 closest matches appear, I suggest making all the matches the same font-size, with the closest being on the top.

Lastly, I can't wait to see how the upcoming Pokédex will look like.

Dang this musta took alot work.
Anywho I agree the dots are a tidbit confusing. I reccomend putting the initials of the game instead, or color code the collummns to tell em apart.

Looks like a good start! I agree with the above about the dots.

Good, this will give you something to do as you always complain about being bored whenever you have time off.
