Default My computer is messed up!

I keep getting this thing were my screen turns all blurry and I can't see what's going on.

My computer is still responcive, I managed to use the chat when it happened but I really want help to figure whats wrong.

I have a Windows Vista Laptop by Gateway.

I had some similar problem.My screen used to have a grey lines all over the screen.And the cursor moves too slow.
I reformatted my laptop.

Replace video card also if its a crt(the big one not flat) you may need a new monitor.

Could you provide a picture? Here's the best advice I can give with what you said. It could just be something as simple as the screen resolution, or it could be the hardware. Hook it up to an external monitor; if it's like that on the external monitor it's a problem with your settings or the onboard graphics, otherwise it's the LCD. You should also make sure the screen is connected to the motherboard properly.

Try reinstalling your drivers, too.

Was there anything you were doing with your computer before this, like installing a program or changing some BIOS settings?

It's actually become a lot less frequent ever since I uninstalled Roller Coater Tycoon 3 but it still happens but very rarely now.

I was scrolling through topics to post on here and I found this one.

My parents bought me my very first computer from Gateway, the second one I bought, and frankly they weren't very good.

Do you have a warranty and is anything covered?
