Default What is the scariest game you have ever played?

As someone who tends to shy away from horror, I found Five Nights at Freddy's, a game recommended by my friends to be absolutely horrible.

These are videos of me and my friend reacting to it.

Please post the scariest game you've ever played below! Reactions would also be awesome if you have them!

I played this game called Vanish once. So far that's the only time in my life I've screamed playing a game.

Though to be fair I don't play many horror games. I'm the kind of person who got freaked out on the train in the opening scene in Half-Life so I'm not exactly anxious to play more.

Edit: Oh yeah, reactions. The video portion got corrupted during recording, but I think in this case audio-only works just fine.

Horror isn't really my thing either. Also the reaction was great

I haven't played too many horror games, but Ib is the scariest game I've played that actually has a decent plot.

I've played a few that fall into horror, for example all the dead space. The first one was the only one to give me a legitimate scare. The next two had the same scares and that gets old fast. Amnesia the Dark Decent on the other hand is pure horror. If your into this category I suggest it, how it plays is great and if you follow the advice when your playing it you really start to get in the game and fell like the character. Awesome game that I need to finish.

P.T demo on PS4 (AKA the new silent hill demo)

Then there was Siren Blood curse although fiddly.
Dead space 1 was one of my favourites DS 2 & 3 just lost the scary factor.

There was a few more but they slip my mind at the moment (curse of getting older -_-)

Horror is definitely not my thing, but I appreciated the survival aspect of Zombie U and I'll admit, I didn't jump often, but I would sometime panic if I was surrounded. Otherwise it was actually a fun game!
