Default Sega Genesis

I recently got a Genesis (referred to as a Mega Drive in some areas), yet I don't have an appropriate adaptor for it. The universal adaptor I have can start the system, but it doesn't pump enough amps out.

I have a genesis, but I never liked it.... It still works I think... Want it?

Nah, I'm kidding, that would be impossible, I have no idea where you live... But I'm guessing it's in the U.S., about 3,000 miles away

I have 3 Genesis systems. Two original model one systems (both non-functional) and a working model 2. I have 11 games for it.

My old Model 1 still runs like a charm. I have two games for it, "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" and "World Series Baseball."

YOU JUST GOT ONE OF THE BEST CONSOLE EVER MADE!
If you can get it to work right, get the first 4 sonic games. they are 100x better than any of the sonic games after them

I have Sonic Mega Collection for the GameCube, which has all the classic Sonic games.

I'm not exactly sure what model mine is, all I know it's the first thing that got me into video games, if you don't count the computer we had. It was technically my sister's, but I kinda played it more. We got it from my uncles. Eventually, we got a Sega CD add on to it, but it was never used. I wish we had gotten Sonic CD. I'll try and get a picture of the model I have.

If it has a volume control and a headphone port on the left side of the system, it is a model 1. If it is a semi-squarish shape with oval Power and Reset buttons it is a model 2. If it is very small and has a 3 on it, then it is a model 3.
