Kirby is one of my childhood favorites. I love Kirby. If there is a character that can be the 2nd best thing to Mario platforming it's Kirby.

Yes! God damn you Nintendo! You are lazy! Why haven't they made the Kirby Wii title. I getting really ticked off of Nintendo for lack of care they put into popular games. Pokemon is a perfect example their spin-offs of Ranch and Rumble are downright a joke and they even have a crappy comercial of Rumble going with crappy cards. Is this really Pokemon or is it just slapped on there for no good reasons and money. My guess is probably greed. Anyways, back to Kirby, Kirby is awesome and I want to see a new game of him NOW!

Yes, the posibility of that game coming in the US is...never. I had high hopes ,but I just gave up. I don't care about it anymore. I've waited five years and I'm thinking it's only going in Japan. So It's like what they did with earthbound 3.

KSSU (Kirby super star ultra) was a great game. I hope for the next game to build up on the story of Galacta knight because It seems like there needs to be an extended story for him.

Beats me. If it made an offical release date that would be great. But, I doubt that Nintendo would do such a thing. Maybe it's that Japan just enjoys the games too much to release here. Well, at least I have the next thing to Kirby...Starfy!!!

I've always loved Kirby. My favorite is actually Kirby's Dreamland 3 because I have fond memories of it. And now I can enjoy collecting ROB's parts and freezing Metroids.

Is there even any evidence at this point that it will come out in Japan? It has been on the press roster for over a year, and an official announcement is still pending. I think more likely than not it'll turn into a Super Mario 128 and never be released. Suffice it to say, I'm not holding my breath on a U.S. release.

personally, I think amazing mirror is one of the best. I hope Kirby wii turns out more like that than superstar.

I remember a Nintendo Power article WAY back when the GameCube was released. They were announcing a Kirby platformer for GameCube that looked very Crystal Shards, with a gimmick: Kirby loses the ability to copy his opponent's powers, so he carries around his buddies with him, who are enemies he defeats in combat, on top of his head/body in a totempole- like structure. Later on, I saw it reappear in a blurb in Nintendo Power (after the Future US redesign) and it seemed that it was rebuilt for Wii, and it would no longer contain the totem pole gimmick.

It's one of many Nintendo franchises that has yet to be given a well deserved console release.

Since this is a Kirby thread, I'd like to say that I once had the OFFICIAL World Record for score on Kirby's Dream Land. I had held the record for 5 months in 2008 before it was beat.

I watch the trailer on youtube and it looks really cool especially Kirby as a yarn robot.It's about time for Nintendo to make a new Kirby game.Can't wait for it.
