Adobe Creative Suite 2 given away (not really?)
Activation servers deactivated? Seems like what happens next is, well, a huge software giveaway. Over 1 GB of data to be downloaded just for the suite itself, though, so those on mobile connections might want to watch it.
I just found out about this a few moments ago and you technically should have an Adobe account, but right now, the offer page seems to be under maintenance and in Japanese in part for some reason. Still, you should be able to find direct-download links within Gizmodo's comments and the fact that the serial is no longer unique should reassure anyone. Mac users: If you're using an Intel Mac and are running Lion or newer, you're out of luck. EDIT: There seems to be some bits of uncertainty regarding the software, but it IS hammered. As usual, Adobe gives out a vague statement that doesn't seem to confirm or deny anything about the wide-open download links.
I'm now officially confused. |
