Hey guys, Lite here with a big announcement!

As a few of you know, I have reserved both HeartGold and SoulSilver's American release copy. This is pretty cool but that's not the best part.

The BEST part is...

Once I get home from picking them up, I will almost immediately begin what could possibly be the FIRST ENGLISH LET'S PLAY OF HGSS on YouTube!!

It won't be on my main account, mtdhlite. It will be on a seperate account made specifically for LPs, called LiteTheIronMan.

This is very groundbreaking for me: It'll be my first LP to upload, it'll probably be the first time anyone will watch an English LP of these games, and it'll be a complete LP, from the unboxing to the startup screen to the first Silver encounter... all the way to Red, baby.

Steady announcements and updates regarding this LP project will be posted on this thread. Any comments about this LP can be posted here, or my YouTube, or my side channel:

I'll probably record most of my playing of SoulSilver (in Japanese) on the stream. Expect lots of it on YouTube.

I would want to watch LP's and streams, but I like to be suprised about plot twists when playing games and stuff...so none of that for me.

Due to the results of the Starter Poll, Cyndaquil will be the starter I pick for the Let's Play. Results were:

HGSS is fricken sweet! i got Soul Silver myself. Only complaints i have is the re used battle frontier and the low lvl poke =/

I'm just saying there are much less Heart Gold playthroughs out there (Marriland, Cat and many others did Soul Silver - it seems to be a favourite)

Haha, I have to say it countless times to prevent moronic questions like "wut game is diz is it fro xboz 360". 'Cuz I know I'm gonna get that.

The only HG LP I've seen (and due to the bland commentary, I can't even call it an LP) is GianCarlo's. Otherwise, SS seems to be a fanfavorite.

Although it needs to be said, if the game leaks early you may not be the first, but you will probably be the first with a legal, non-rom cart.

The ROM's always leaked early. HG/SS ROMs was leaked 2 days early, and Scribblenauts (US) was leaked nearly a whole week early!

Update #4:

I've begun a Prime Trilogy LP to pass the time till HGSS. I mean, no sense in beating a dead account.

If I go through the game quick enough, I'll be able to finish/be halfway through Corruption by the time HGSS comes out.

Another thing I've thought about. If Other M comes out before HGSS I'll begin an LP of that, too (blind of course).

At least these filler LPs will bring in some subscribers for your account before you begin your HeartGold LP.

I thought about that. Unfortunately, my MPT Let's Play is probably being overshadowed by one or two others, such as Lancun's. It still is a good way to attract new subs so that way I can get more attention to the larger matter at hand.
