• Rule 4: All items on (Except the Ray Gun, Starman, Fan,Lightning bolt, And Timer), Medium frequency
• Rule 5: No Hacking
• Rule 6: No calling these rules unfair
• Rule 7: Must have Wi-Fi Connection (Suggested by Billy2257)
• Rule 8: 5 Stock Battle
• Rule 9: Free for all battle (Which means not a team battle )

On rule #3, I think you should make it items Medium frequency, and every item on, except for Starman, Fan, and Timer.
Those items are nothing but annoyances.

I disagree with this. I think that setting items to high frequency is the best option, personally.

Those are what I call the 'snobs' who think the only way to play is with Fox, on Final Destination, with no items. I don't know about you guys, but I find that to be the most boring game of Smash Brothers ever. Real players can be good with anybody on any level.

I do however think that the items should be medium frequency. High frequency is just going to have items constantly appear and people are just going to be grabbing those without doing any actual fighting. Medium would let you both use items and do some good old fashioned brawling.

The last tournament I was in had a rule for 'Random Stage'. I didn't read the rules thoroughly enough though, and picked a stage. I'll read the rules three times over this time!

All characters stay, unless people want a certain character not to be added

Smash balls stay on, and if all (except the ray gun and fan! those are cheap) the items are on Medium frequency, smash balls should be rare

Aww yea, I think sonic was banned from a few tournies just because of his final smash. I don't really have any gripe with it though.

And yesh 5 stock sounds great~! Time matches just feel rushed.

-Fan is just for n00bs who can't get a hit in without being cheap.
-Ray Gun can be avoided by good brawlers and can be used to gain energy in certain characters, but I understand that they are similar to the Fan and should be removed likewise
-Starman is nothing but an annoyance, cheap, and just makes the battle 30 seconds longer than it needed to be
-Timer is just annoying, and like the Starman in ways. It should be removed.

Starman and Timer only last about 15 seconds, so i would keep it

1) Banana Peels are nothing but annoying. Do you really need to slip & slide around during a battle? >_<
2) I vote for 1 vs. 1 battles...unless this tourney's gonna have like 100+ people joining in. Don't forget that 4 vs. 4 = 3 people gone, which would make for a 10 minute tourney.(plus, the final round is 1 vs. 1 so it'll be the same)

I'd say that if possible, people should record the battles. If the game allows you to, save the battle video. If you have any kind of capture device, record it. Use VCR or DVR to record your battle. When all is said and done, any videos we have can be uploaded to FloatzelTournaments.

I know that people can just save their battle(if it's up to 3 minutes) and send it to someone with a capture device, but how do you go about uploading via VCR? I can understand a Wii -> VCR -> TV to record hook up, but how do you get VHS on a computer without using a capture device to get it on there?

I say keep those items in, cause Team Healer is just like Food, and REALLY when Sandbag appears(it's pretty rare anyway) do you focus your attacks on it, or continue attacking your opponet?

Also, anyone wanna post a Brawl items list so people can decide which are right and wrong so the items debate can end? xD(or not...I say the current unbanned items are fine, those items are fair, only slightly annoying, or have drawbacks that balances the item)

I really think we should at least keep timer and lightning bolt. I really don't find them annoying as sometimes the person who picks it up has a chance of getting affected making them vulnerable.

If it's 4 player matches, how about 2 people go through? 1 on 1 matches are boring, but 4 players with 1 winner would be too quick. The final battle could come down to either 4 players with one winner.

Uh, when there is a 4 vs. 4 battle, there is only one winner. I could maybe understand the final 2 people alive or something, but that would be awkward...plus, it's a tourney...not a friend battle with 3 of your friends...

Well then we'd have a pretty short brawl (damage healers are part of the items) But we're soon to be having a 'No Items' Rule if people don't stop concentrating on banning certain items, and not concentrate on other important rules.

Superspicy Curry[UNFAIR] (I don't know...It's annoying, but you can just ran away from your enemy for 20 seconds. Could be banned like Starman if you guys want.)
Team Healer[FAIR] (Only useful in team battles. Keep it on or off, it doesn't really matter. This is a Free-for-All tourney.)

I really don't see why people hate items because you have to remember that everyone has an equal chance to get that item. Just 'cuz you didn't get the item doesn't mean you gotta ban it. Fan, You can try dodging Hello? Lightning, like I said, it doesn't always work, if not, get it first, timer, same, if not, DODGE! It's not that hard people!

Wow, no agreement on items. I think our only choices here are everything, or Smash Ball and Pokeball only. No matter what we kind of need Pokeball, I think we all can agree on that.

Anyway, I think the items are FINE as they are. Nobody has fought against an item recently. I still say that banana peel is useless, and will forever say so until Sakurai decides to DLC delete it out of the game.

We're using stock, that's been agreed on. And with stock, sudden death is an extremely rare occurrence (It's happened to me once; we got extremely lucky. I won )
