Any sports players here?

Anyone here play high school sports? College? Little League? City League? Anything like that?
I play football (Offensive guard) and baseball (Designated hitter), plus I wrestle, all for my high school.

I used to play Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball, but I don't play any sports anymore. I played before mostly because it was a requirement, but at my current school, sports are taken much less seriously. I do fitness because it gets out like an hour earlier and free time is important to me.

I used to play pretty much any position they needed me to in soccer. I was pretty flexible, so whoever needed to take a break, I'd sub in for them, no matter what position I was in. When I started, they'd usually place me as a left striker, though. In Basketball, it was pretty much the same deal. Sometimes I'd start, and sometimes I'd be on the bench for the first little while, but I played all-around. We did zone defense and our coach wasn't really concerned on where to place whom (who? whatever). In baseball, I was just a sub, because I'm not very good. I'd like to blame the fact that I have blue eyes, but in reality, that probably has nothing to do with it. I always played either left field, center field, or first base. Oddly enough, I never got out once the entire time I played. But I also never hit the ball, either. I always got walked and made it all the way home. Every time.

Well, I played soccer starting in kindergarten, and basketball in 3rd grade. But then I stopped soccer in 8th and basketball in 9th (those grade levels were the last years I played the sport at school). I enjoy playing sports these days, but only with a group of friends for fun if I do. Schoolwork pretty much doesn't give me much time off of school and I'm usually sitting on my computer during that off-time since I'd prefer to rest most often.

I play sports during the school year. Both for the school and the local recreation team.
I've been playing soccer since I was 6. I'm usually goalie, but sometimes I switch into Defense.
And I've been playing basketball since I was 9. I'm point guard and shooting guard.

Sometimes I play sports in the summer, but that's usually with my friends. Otherwise I'm lazy. =p

Is "cello" a sport?

If not, then no. I have never been the sporty type. But I do remember a time in elementary school where I wanted to hang out with the "cool" kids, so I "played" basketball. I would say "I'm not that great of a shooter, but I am a great passer."

I play soccer and tennis for my school. I like basketball, football and baseball too, but those are more fun to play with friends in the backyard than on a team imo.

I'm a good goalie, but I don't play for the team at school. My school has been state champions in soccer for a few years, so I wouldn't make it.

I was on a basketball team for a while, and grew to HATE basketball (playing it, anyway). I mainly play soccer (usually Defense, though I can be on offense when needed), as well as badminton (it's fun and easy), cricket (mainly batting), baseball (I make a decent batter and outfielder), biking, I suppose counts. I also occasionally do kickboxing, and some other stuff I can't be bothered to type right now.

Anyways, ill begin. I play Lacrosse, Wrestling, and Soccer for school. And for the things I play a lot, but not for school: Basketball, Football, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). So, how about you?

They're all for a league, although I like to play them for fun as well.

Yes, in fact, there was a thread in the Sports forum with the exact same purpose, so the newer one has been merged into the older one.

Started to learn tennis in 9th grade. I tried to join the tennis team, but then it was too late to sign up. Used to play Badminton for high school in 9th grade. I was really bad at it. I played tennis in 10th grade and sprain my ankle and so I can't play for awhile. Will plan to play for my school this fall.
