Basic Wii U getting a recall from GameStop

This one is a bit of a puzzler: the 8 GB Wii U Basic Set is being recalled from GameStop stores due to poor sales. I'm willing to bet Nintendo is going to be announcing some type of price drop and/or a newer model of the Wii U console with additional storage space or features, especially to compete directly with the PlayStation 4 and restore interest in the Wii U. |
