Jolty made the first move, being the quickest, and smallest, battler on the field. Jolty hopped to and fro, causing Speedy and Happy to wonder which one she would strike. Soon, they lost sight of the tiny bug, and Happy was shocked, quite suddenly and literally, as Jolty made a sudden attack. Happy rolled about, quite stunned by the attack. Jolty was feeling stronger after that successful attack, but made sure not to keep her guard down.
(Togepi: -6 Health, Joltik: -5 Energy, +1 SP.ATK)

Taps followed up with an attack of her own. She dashed towards the Nincada and Togepi, who were now furtive after that attack. They made sure that they wouldn't get hit. Taps dashed towards Happy with seemingly no intention to stop; Togepi got ready to leap. But, just as Taps gained on them, she turned direction and slammed hard into Speedy! The attack, taking Speedy off guard, was a direct hit! Still, Taps felt a little pained by the recoil that she received.
(Nincada: -13 Health, Eevee: -3 Health, -5 Energy)

Speedy was now steaming. Already, they had taken massive amounts of damage. Well, two could play at this game, Speedy thought. Before Taps could react, Speedy grabbed Eevee. Speedy rubbed her legs together, creating a high-pitched noise that just about deafened Taps. Before long, Taps was dazed. Speedy headbutted her onto the ground before retreating once again to the safety of their side of the battlefield.
(Eevee: -11 Health, Nincada: -7 Energy)

Now was time for Happy to attack, being the slowest. Carrying her cumbersome eggshell body around, she began to form a strange power from between her hands. Happy found it very heavy; it wasn't like carrying a bouncy ball, this was tough and heavy. Before she dropped it on herself, she took aim and slammed it on top of the tiny Joltik. Jolty screeched in pain; a super-effective hit was dealt. But worse for Taps and Jolty, Happy suddenly had a change in spirit. The strange power had boosted her stats; all of them!

Joltik was ready for revenge after being smacked down by Happy's giant mass of rock. This time, Jolyy drew strength from the earth, and fired a ball of earthen energy towards Speedy. Speedy tried to dodge with a graceful spin, but she was still clipped. Speedy tumbled to the ground, stunned by her inability to dodge the attack.
(Nincada: -10 Health // Joltik: -8 Energy)

Taps dashed into the chaos and confusion. While Speedy was occupied with dealing with Jolty's Energy Balls, Taps dashed towards Happy, who's legs were still stubby despite the speed boost. Taps clamped her jaws into Happy's eggshell. Taps couldn't clamp down as much as she'd like, but her teeth couldn't chomp down quite as much. Suddenly, though, Taps heard a cracking sound. Success! A critical hit! Happy was so caught off guard, she began to flail and whine in pain.
(Togepi: -10 Health // Eevee: -4 Energy)

Speedy was not doing so well, but it was mostly due to the fact that Jolty's annoying offenses were upped. In order to counter this, she jumped and fired a ton of small, orange spores. The spores attached onto Jolty, making her feel all ticklish all over. One of the spores stung every now and then, but the damage wasn't so great. But it really reduced her offensive capabilities.
(Joltik: -3 Health, -1 SP.ATK // Nincada: -3 Energy)

Happy was definitely...not happy. She was wailing in pain, so much that she couldn't even remember what move she was supposed to do! She had been caught so off guard.

Jolty was mad that she lost her power boost, she began jumping around in a small rage. Even though her anger was focused on Speedy, she would need to take her anger out on the Togepi instead. Jolty began to glow a yellow aura and electricity surged through its yellow fur. Jolty released a bolt of lightning and sent it toward Happy. Happy tried to avoid the electricity, but it was too late; Happy was zapped by the Thunderbolt.
(Happy: -8 Health; Jolty: -7 Energy)

Taps saw how Happy posed a big threat to herself and her teammate. Taps saw that this would be a good opportunity to team up on the Togepi. Tap’s teeth began to elongate, she sprinted toward the Togepi and sunk her jaws into Happy’s shell. However, Happy’s hard shell and increased defense lessened the blow and Taps felt as if she chipped a tooth.
(Happy: -3 Health; Taps: -6 Energy)

Speedy saw Taps bite onto her teammate and she was furious. Speedy rushed to where Taps was and lashed at the Eevee with her claws in an X-shape. Speedy was so furious that her claws became more powerful than usual. Speedy struck Taps with full force, it was a critical hit!
(Taps: -15 Health; Speedy: -7 Energy)

Happy shrugged off most of the damage she received and she prepared a counterattack! Since Taps was being handled by her teammate, she decided to go for Jolty instead. Happy’s face began to glow red and flames began to spout from her mouth. Happy released a giant flamethrower from her mouth. At first, the flame was narrow and weak, but then it grew wider into an inferno, it was a critical hit! Jolty became engulfed in flames and she was hurt badly by the attack.

Taps, on the other hand, took a different approach than last time. She ran towards Happy, whose confidence in herself was rising with the failure of Taps's last attack. However, rather than attacking, Taps took her fluffy tail and tickled Happy with it. As a result, Taps giggled in delight and squirmed, shouting to stop in between prolonged giggles.
(Togepi: -1 DEF // Eevee: -2 Energy)

Speedy found this an important opportunity to get the weather to change. After all, the Bipolar arena didn't seem to be changing weather yet, so who'd be better than to change it herself? She made a chant-like cry into the air, and immediately, the clouds cleared and the sun blazed with intense heat. But the heat was strangely energy-sapping; all of the battlers on the ground had been slowed down!
(Nincada: -6 Energy, SUNNY for 5 turns, all battlers except for Starly -1 SPD)

Now was her chance! Happy began to draw energy from the sun, and concentrated into one unstable and powerful beam. Happy could barely hold it; so firing it sent her rolling backwards. The beam of energy slammed hard into Taps, who didn't take the damage very well, as the hit was critical. Massive damage had been dealt!
(Eevee: -20 Health // Togepi: -10 Energy)

Speedy watched intently on the clouds in the sky. It didn't look like the sun was going to stop shining.

Fross was ready to take desperate measures in order to take out that annoyance of a Togepi. His body was cloaked in a luminous blue light, and it seemed to exude a great deal of formidable power. Fross spread his wings, and dove recklessly towards Happy. Happy tried to flee, but she tripped as she ran. Fross, with a ferocious gleam in his eye, slammed hard into the helpless Happy; and as he began to ascend, he found that he had caught Happy on his beak! He thrust her down to the ground; ultimately, a critical hit, and massive damage. Happy began to wail again, and Fross began to find that his haphazard attack had some dire consequences.
(Togepi: -21 Health, Starly: -7 Health from recoil, -8 Energy)

Taps congratulated Fross on such a well-aimed attack. Rather than a sky assault on Happy, she decided to take an underground route. She burrowed her way underground, leaving no trace of her behind except for a small hole through which she would begin her stealthy attack.
(Eevee: Burrowed underground)

Happy was now steaming. She wanted to stun Taps this turn, but with her sudden disappearance, she had no idea where to fire? She couldn't help but try desperately by attacking the ground, but no such luck.

The sky didn't change throughout the course of the battle. The sun blazed just as hot as ever.

Happy had taken an intense battering, but was still standing tall and...well, maybe not so tall, but definitely holding in there! She decided to take a more protective route this time around, encapsulating herself within an invisible, protective shield. This shield would protect her for the remainder of the turn.
(Togepi: -6 Energy, PROTECTED)

Fross was definitely not eager to use the self-damaging move again, but if his trainer called for it, it had to be done. Unbeknownst to him, however, Happy was already fully protected. Fross dived in, with body cloaked in his harsh blue light, but this time, unaccounted for, the barrier reflected Fross's move entirely. Fross breathed; he had hoped for no recoil, and he got it. Still, no damage was done...
(Togepi: -0 Health, Starly: -8 Energy)

Frogger was finally ready to deal some direct damage. Within her mouth, she produced a filmy, toxic sludge that she shot at great speed from her mouth. The shot slammed into Fross, dealing a good amount of damage. Fross felt sticky and grimy all over; not the best attack to defend against.
(Starly: -8 Health, Tympole: -8 Energy)

Taps finally resurfaced, but faced the same fate as Fross as Happy's barrier bounced them off. Taps was annoyed; two turns of waiting, and for nothing? Taps was beginning to get really frustrated at this Togepi.
(Togepi: -0 Health // Eevee: -7 Energy)

The clouds mysteriously arrived again, and sent a chilling breeze. Soon it began to snow, and after that, the snow hardened into Hail!

Frogger, use Muddy Water to clear the battle field! If they both protect, use Rain Dance!
Happy, use Secret Power on the Starly (snow, 30% FREEZE), but if it protects, use Nasty Plot!

Tympole: Muddy Water @ Starly & Eevee/Rain Dance

Fross had to stop doing his reckless attacks; he feared that he might drive too intensely at some point and end up hurting himself badly. Likewise, he took a safer tactic. He flied way high into the sky, losing the view of his enemies. Of course, it was cold, and hail was pelting away, but Fross would just have to endure it.
(Starly: Up in the air, -6 Health from HAIL)

Frogger knew she couldn't hit Fross where he was now; he'd have to settle on Taps. The Eevee was beginning to burrow her way underground when, out of nowhere, a deluge of murky water slammed down upon her side. She tried to dig quicker, but alas, the water was too quick for her. She tumbled around a while, finding that her original hole had been totally waterlogged.
(Eevee: -10 Health, Tympole: -8 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

Taps was not enthusiastic about the sodden ground, as the murky water had soaked into the ground, making it all a gushy mud. She eventually redid the waterlogged hole, sneaking down. She felt icky all over, and hoped to resurface as quickly as possible
(Eevee: Burrowed underground, dodged HAIL)

Happy had lost sight of both of her enemies. She already had Secret Power set up, so she might as well try for false hope. She tossed it into the air. Nothing happened, and the orb of light simply disintegrated.
(Togepi: Attack MISSED, -5 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

The battlers eagerly looked at the sky for any weather changes. The clouds didn't clear up, and the hail was falling as heavily as before.

Secret Power

Fross had thoroughly planned the course for his next move. He caught total sight of Frogger, and did a nose-spin dive down towards them. Frogger had not time to escape; Fross's blinding speeds were too fast for the tadpole, being swept off the ground due to the attack.
(Tympole: -10 Health, Starly: -7 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

Frogger didn't like that one bit. Thus, he began to shout annoyingly and with a high-pitched scream. Fross tried to cover his ears with his wings, but to no avail; the screams cut right through, causing Fross to lose hearing for a moment. He began to wish he was still in the air, out of range of the attack, much like Taps was.
(Starly: -8 Health, Tympole: -9 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

Taps was uncomfortable with all this mud surrounding her. Her claws weren't making much headway into the mud, and she found that it was getting thicker. She hated to admit it, but she was afraid she might get stuck down there! No; she had to get the thought out of her mind. She continued swiping through the mud, waiting for the surface to appear. This mud; the thickness was really getting in her way!
(Eevee: Due to the thickening mud from Frogger's attack, Dig takes one more turn)

Happy was once again left with a bad move; again, her Secret Power had nowhere to go! She fired it at the ground this time, to see if Taps might just be surfacing; no such luck. Happy was getting frustrated with two failed attempts in a row.
(Togepi: Attack MISSED, -5 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

The clouds finally began to clear up; but they were all anticipating nice weather. Alas, that was merely wishful thinking; the sun had been set ablaze once again!

Frogger noticed that Fross had retreated, so she figured it would be a good idea to not try to attract Jolty, considering they were the same gender. Instead, she built up a small stream of water and allowed it to float around herself, creating a nourishing ring around her body.
(Tympole: -5 Energy, AQUA RING in place)

Taps could finally smell fresh air from under all the grimy ground. She emerged quite forcefully and suddenly, catching Frogger off guard. The Tympole's small body was easily flung into the air. Taps took a deep breath; finally, she was back on land!
(Tympole: -8 Health, Eevee: -12 Energy)
Ref notice: Since Dig took longer, it took 1.5x energy

Happy decided to ease off on the offensive and restore her depleting health. This way, she'd have more time to go on the offensive. She gathered light from the sun; it was quite rejuvenating. She felt really refreshed; who knew that a hot, blazing sun could be so relaxing!
(Togepi: -8 Energy, +12 Health)

Protect

Happy was quick to put up her protective barrier. It was invisible, so she knew that the others wouldn't be able to notice her protection. Despite this, the hail came from above, and still managed to crash against her head! She groaned; it looked like the barriers didn't protect from the hail all too well.
(Togepi: -6 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL, PROTECTED for 1 turn)

Jolty was ready to fight, even after being torched earlier. She rubbed her small hairs together, generating small sparks of electricity. She collected the static in front of her mouth, and fired a fast, thin beam of electricity. Jolty was confounded when the beam bounced away from her, almost suddenly. Jolty grumbled; she must have protected.
(Togepi: -0 Health, Joltik: -5 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

Frogger had noticed that the ground had finally dried from the Muddy Water attack from several turns ago. She wouldn't allow that! She released a toxic, sticky film, which seemed to have a life of its own. The toxic film built up into a giant wave, which overwhelmed the entire field, leaving nothing behind in its path of destruction. The tidal forces alone did massive damage; Taps was twisting around, and eventually heard a snap! When the toxic waves receded, she found that she had sprained an ankle. It was a critical hit on Taps, but what was Jolty's fate? The tiny Pokemon crawled up, but she didn't look too well. She instantly realized that the toxic waves must have poisoned her!
(Eevee: -15 Health // Togepi: -0 Health, Joltik: -8 Health, POISONED for 5 turns, Tympole: -9 Energy, -6 Health from HAIL)

Taps's ankle throbbed with pain, as she had been dealt such a hard hit to her health. She knelt down and made a prayer to the great Arceus above. She begged for just a little bit of health, just a little. She hoped that the gods of Pokemon would be able to heed her call.
(Eevee: -6 Energy, -6 Health, made a WISH)

The Pokemon on the field noticed that the cold air was letting up. The sun quite literally tore a hole in the storm clouds, as the ice that formed on the ground disintegrated before their eyes. The sun was ablaze one again.

Jolty made a mischievous smile. She knew what she had to do next. The tiny bug scuttled her way towards Happy, who was a bit wary of the Joltik. Jolty scuttled side to side, making abrupt movements at random intervals. Happy was thrown off by Jolty's seemingly erratic motions, and didn't realize that she had gotten so close. By the time she realized how close Jolty was, the small buck had successfully made a quick, yet effective, punch with her stubby legs. Happy didn't think it would hurt so much, but it did.

Frogger was a ready to put Taps down to the ground. Frogger made a loud, bellowing cry that surprised Taps, especially given Frogger's size. The earth began to tremble, and Taps couldn't do anything as she felt the earth rumble like an angry giant under her feet. She was especially worried that something was going to come out of the ground and attack her; that wasn't the case, but rather, the earth exploded and sent her flying into the air.

[Accuracy roll: 73, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 9, with 1-6 being a critical hit | SP.DEF lowering roll: 70, with 1-10 lowering SP.DEF]

Taps hit the ground rather hard, following her damaging descent into the now crushed ground. She could feel a tear growing in her eyes, but now she got the idea of using it to her own advantage. She produced more tears, though not genuine, and started playing on Frogger's emotions. Frogger made a twisted frown; she didn't know whether to feel sorry for her or to ignore her. Most importantly, though, Frogger's defenses were let down.
(Tympole: -2 SP.DEF, Eevee: -3 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 39, with 1-100 hitting]

Happy waddled her way over to the bug that had so unexpectedly sacked her in the...stomach? Well, where the stomach would normally be. Nonetheless, Happy waddled her way over and began to hop on her tiny legs. She puffed herself up to increase her body mass, and began to roll. When she got close to Jolty, she hopped up higher than before, and slammed on top of Jolty, squashing him underneath her!
(Joltik: -11 Health, Togepi: -8 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 45, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 91, with 1-13 being a critical hit | Paralyzing roll: 72, with 1-30 paralyzing the target]

Taps was pretty exhausted. She was wondering whether the great Poke-gods above had granted her wish. As soon as she thought that, though, her body felt slightly more refreshed. She wondered; how could that have happened?
(Eevee: WISH granted, +10 Health)

The sun was blazing pretty intensely, but a soft breeze began to pass by. The battlers all anticipated yet another hailstorm, but it didn't get too much colder. It was actually perfect weather for once.

Frogger hadn't time to enjoy the weather; it was time to retreat. Frogger leaped back into the Pokeball, and in her place came a dark dog, by the name of Chibi. The Poochyena made a menacing bark, signalling his eagerness to battle.

Taps continued to attack, despite her overall lack of health and haphazardness of her attack. She dived towards Happy head-first, bracing for impact. The attack hit Happy head-on, but Happy didn't fall over; rather, she seemed to be trying to absorb the damage. Although great damage was dealt, she became worried that there was some horrible miscalculation in her attack...
(Togepi: -10 Health, Eevee: -5 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 30, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 94, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Flinching roll: 64, with 1-30 flinching the opponent]

Happy had taken quite a bit of damage, but with a mischievous smile, she knew that it was all going to be for the better. Taking all the energy that she stored up in her body in order to cushion herself from taking too much damage, she fired a destructive beam that doubled the power of Taps's attack, and sent it flying right back at her. Taps was knocked for a loop; and by the time she was on the ground, she could barely stand up!
(Eevee: -20 Health, Togepi: -10 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 83, with 1-100 hitting]

The storm clouds began to appear again, and Taps was lamenting greatly over it; the hailstorms were back yet again, leaving the Pokemon under its cold wrath again.
[Arena weather change roll: 89, with 67-100 changing to Hail | Since all Pokemon are non-Ice type, they all receive -1 SPD]

Chibi, finish off Taps with a Snarl, but if it is unhittable, switch up the targets and Payback that bug! Happy, you can use Nasty Plot, but if you're Taunted, get rid of Jolty with a Fire Blast!

Sorry Taps, not much I can do for you, but use Quick Attack for your final attack on Togepi.
Jolty use Thunderbolt on Togepi. Maybe we can finish it off next turn.

Taps felt really dizzy and wasn't exactly aware of where she was. She saw a blur in the distance that she deduced to be Happy, so she dashed towards her, though taking a more circuitous route towards her. She eventually lunged, throwing her entire body at Happy, who couldn't brace herself and ended up rolling on the ground. Taps panted; she wasn't going to be able to hold on anymore.
(Togepi: -6 Health, Eevee: -2 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 30, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 10, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Jolty still wasn't feeling as well as she would have liked, and she feared that the poison would effect the remaining performance she had. She felt ready to vomit, but she had to hold on for as long as possible. Jolty stored tremendous amounts of electrical energy, and fired it all off at Happy. Happy was zapped quite furiously, but she was still standing.
(Togepi: -9 Health, Joltik: -6 Energy, -6 Health from poison, POISONED for 2 more turns)
[Accuracy roll: 13, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 41, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Paralysis roll: 19, with 1-10 paralyzing the target]

Chibi was ready to deal the finishing blow to that pesky Eevee, and was prepared to deal a tad bit of damage to Jolty as well. Chibi made menacing glares and barks to his to opponents. The onslaught of barks were entirely deafening; Taps couldn't bear it, and was left fainted. Meanwhile, Jolty was trying her best to endure the hit, but was left trembling in fear.

[Accuracy rolls: 73 (Eevee) and 95 (Joltik), with 1-95 hitting | Critical hit rolls: 96 (Eevee) and 77 (Joltik), with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Happy was really getting tired, but if she was going to go out, she'd go on a bang. She began to plot her ways to do this, thinking of the most mischievous and destructive ways to do so. With her preparations complete, she knew exactly what to do next turn...
(Togepi: +2 SP.ATK, -5 Energy)

Jolty didn't have much time left; she knew that it was all or nothing with these last attacks. She stored up what little life she had left into her attack, and send a weak, yet effective bolt of electric energy towards Happy. Once again, Happy was successfully shocked. But something was very different this time! Happy had very big trouble trying to get up; she had been paralyzed by the attack!
(Togepi: -9 Health, PARALYZED for 5 turns, Joltik: -6 Energy, -6 Health from poison, POISONED for 1 more turn)
[Accuracy roll: 74, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 42, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Paralysis roll: 10, with 1-10 paralyzing the target.]

Chibi was running as fast as he could in order to protect Happy in time to intercept Liberty's attack. Liberty had begun to attack head-on, cloaked in a lustrous gray light and bolting full speed ahead. It would be close; Chibi was almost there, but so was the Beldum. They both were neck and neck, but Chibi managed by just before Liberty did. This didn't deter the Beldum from its attack, and was just as happy with the new target.
(Poochyena: -9 Health, Beldum: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 100, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 88, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Happy was glad to have survived; now she could pay Jolty back for all the zappings! She took every last bit of the strength that she obtained throughout the entire battle, and converted it into one ball of immense power. The orb seemed very unstable, and especially with her paralysis, it'd be very hard to control. As she held it in her hands, she began to feel really woozy and dizzy. However, with as much strength as would allow, she threw the ball, causing Jolty to quiver in terror. It would be an immense blow, she thought. She was totally right. A giant cloud of smoke emerged from the devastation, and within it, Jolty lay, fainted. Happy smiled, and rolled over. She had lost all her energy...or did she?

Fross's first order of business - take Happy out once and for all. Fross was glad to do it; the Togepi had been a nuisance ever since it started to battle. Fross spread his wings and did a nose-spin dive towards the Togepi, whose life was hanging by a thin thread. Happy had lost all sight of Fross, and the next thing she knew, she was lying face-flat on the ground, unable to move.
(Togepi: -4 Health, FAINTED, Starly: -3 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 4, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 68, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Chibi was saddened by the loss of her teammate. He was going to make sure that they got what was coming to them. His teeth began to shine a bright orange color, and they steamed with intense heat! He dashed to Liberty, clamping down on the robotic arm with great force. Chibi was a bit deterred, though; he didn't particularly enjoy the sensation of biting metal. Nonetheless, Liberty was hurt, particularly by the heat of the attack.

Liberty showed no emotion in the hit of the last attack. Instead, it began to work on protective itself later. Cleansing itself in a metallic overcoat, Liberty's body became much more strong, and would be able to take on any physical damage that would come its way.

Fross figured that it'd be a good idea to have the speed advantage, especially when the arena's weather went south. Fross called into the air, bringing with it a giant gust of wind that blew at Fross and Liberty's backs. They now had more momentum in attacking, so things might be slightly easier for them.
(Starly: -4 Energy, doubled SPD for 5 turns)
[No rolls were required for this turn]

Despite the wind blowing towards her, Frogger was still able to outrun Liberty. Before Liberty could prepare for any attacks, she slammed the earth with her tail, creating a huge shock wave that spread and tore up the earth. The torn earth sent shrapnel of stone and dust into Liberty, dealing super effective damage!
(Beldum: -12 Health, Tympole: -9 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 2, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 54, with 1-6 being a critical hit | SP.DEF lower roll: 25, with 1-10 lowering the target's SP.DEF]

Now with the wind blowing, Liberty made sure to get a sweet shot at Chibi. Before Chibi could begin to move, the wind allowed for the Beldum to boost ahead, glowing in metallic silver light. The light enveloped it entirely, and Liberty slammed into Chibi without any mercy whatsoever.
(Poochyena: -9 Health, Beldum: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 9, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 13, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Flinching roll: 63, with 1-30 flinching the opponent]

Chibi was a bit flustered by that last move, but he had to compromise and focus. He ran fast and jumped high, hoping to catch Fross under him. Fross was startled and tried to fly away before Chibi came down upon him; it was too late, though. The Starly was caught under Chibi's entire body, and was slammed promptly into the ground.

Fross had the wind to his back, and being a Flying-type, Fross knew exactly how to manipulate the wind to his advantage. He spread his wings at a perfect angle, allowing for optimum movement and velocity. He became invisible to sight, and he began dancing a frantic dance, sending feathers flying about in the wind. The feathers blocked out Chibi's sight, reducing his sight. Chibi couldn't make right or left out of all of these annoying feathers!
(Poochyena: -2 ATK, Starly: -5 Energy, TAILWIND for 4 more turns)
[Accuracy roll: 63, with 1-100 hitting]

Frogger had no idea where anything was. She heard Liberty begin to make a whirring sound, so she knew that Liberty would be coming in for an attack. Frogger filled her mouth with boiling-hot water, which was difficult for even her to hold onto for very long. She began to catch Liberty's silhouette in the distance, so she spit it out, releasing hot water and steam. Liberty was hit dead on, evident by Liberty's swerving out of control and crash into the ground.
(Beldum: -9 Health, Tympole: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 83, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 41, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Burning roll: 37, with 1-30 burning the target]

Liberty eventually nudged itself out of the ground, and continued its blast towards Frogger. Encased within a purplish hue, Liberty went in full force, slamming hard into Frogger. Frogger was hit hard, but it would take a lot more to take her down.
(Tympole: -9 Health, Beldum: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 55, with 1-90 hitting | Critical hit roll: 78, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Chibi was less than enthusiastic, being stuck in a storm of feathers. Chibi found it very difficult to focus in on Fross, especially with all the feathers floating around. He decided to give him a little dose of payback for this confusion; she took a malevolent power from within and charged at Fross with all he had. The dark power didn't prove effective, however; as Chibi jumped to get an even elevation with Fross, the feathers got in his eyes, making him slash blindly. He still managed to hit his target, but the damage was lowered greatly, almost entirely.
(Starly: -2 Health | Poochyena: -3 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 97, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit: 87, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Chibi, you can't attack well, so go for a Dark Pulse on Beldum! Frogger, use Sludge Bomb on Fross again!

Fross still had the wind on his back, so a speedy move was impending. Fross made a harshly abrupt movement with his wings, sending a shock wave piercing through the air. The pulse of air was strong, so it easily blew Frogger away. Despite the blow, Frogger was still hanging on, not very deterred.
(Tympole: -9 Health, Starly: -5 Energy, TAILWIND for 3 more turns)
[Accuracy roll: 47, with 1-95 hitting | Critical hit roll: 88, with 1-13 being a critical hit]

Despite the fairly hard hit, Frogger would do what it took to take her opponent down. She filled her mouth with a filmy, toxic, and above all, pungent liquid that nearly made her wretch. She disregarded it, and fired the thick toxic fluids out towards Fross. Fross had hoped to dodge most of them, but after one shot hit him, the rest inevitably smashed into him.

[Accuracy roll: 84, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 91, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Poisoning roll: 48, with 1-30 poisoning the target]

The mechanical Beldum was not about to show any mercy now, especially now, since the outcome was yet to be determined. Liberty blew in full force, going in with yet another Iron Head. This time, Liberty took a more zig-zag path, which took Chibi off guard and clipping him right on the side. After barrel rolling for a few moments, Chibi got up, hurt, but not out.

[Accuracy roll: 82, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 60, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Flinching roll: 84, with 1-30 flinching the target]

Chibi was still a little traumatized by the feather storm, so a physical attack would be difficult at that rate. Chibi decided that he'd have to go for a long range attack. Chibi collected dark energy from all around him, and fired it off as a ray of dark-purple rings. The rings surrounded Liberty, confusing it for a while, before the rings jumped out and sent Liberty in different directions. The attack was a success, but Liberty showed no signs of slowing.
(Beldum: -9 Health, Poochyena: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 100, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 68, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

The sun in the sky didn't seem to change much; it shined just as harshly as it did before. This annoyed most of the battlers; Fross couldn't care less.

Fross was determined to make a big statement this time, using the power from the sun that seemed to aggravate all of the other battles. He used the heat from the sun and the powerful tailwind in order to create a blazing Heat Wave. The fiery wind cast its destruction over the two enemies, leaving raging flames in its wake. Chibi didn't handle it well; the destructive winds knocked him off his feet and slammed him into the ground just as harshly. Frogger was able to sustain the damage better, but the wind had run its due course.
(Poochyena: -24 Health, Tympole: -15 Health, Starly: -8 Energy, TAILWIND for 2 more turns)
[Accuracy rolls: 31 (Chibi) and 28 (Frogger), with 1-90 hitting | Critical hit rolls: 2 (Chibi) and 86 (Frogger), with 1-6 being a critical hit | Burning rolls: 43 (Chibi) and 31 (Frogger), with 1-10 burning the targets]

Frogger was stewing. She had to get back at Fross somehow...and she knew just the way! If Fross was going to burn them, then Frogger was going to burn Fross all the same. She built up some more boiling water in her mouth, and shot it out at a high speed. Some of the water evaporated due to the sun, but what was left hit Fross, nonetheless. Fross didn't like the combination of a hot sun and hot water. He flapped his wings about when he realized a red spot on his wing. It hurt to touch, and the sun didn't do much to help.
(Starly: -5 Health, BURNED for 5 turns, Tympole: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 50, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 74, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Burning roll: 12, with 1-30 burning the target.

Liberty was now ready to continue butting heads. Cloaking itself in metallic light, Liberty was going to assault with another Iron Head. Chibi found this very predictable, and was prepared to dodge at just the right time. Liberty shot full speed ahead. Chibi crouched, ready to jump, but fate failed him, as the tailwinds blew him back, making him a sitting duck. Liberty slammed into him promptly and returned to a furtive position.

[Accuracy roll: 16, with 1-90 hitting | Critical hit roll: 48, with 1-6 being a critical hit | Flinching roll: 90, with 1-30 flinching the target]

Chibi wasn't feeling too great. Especially after getting hit by a flaming wind and a dashing arm, who wouldn't be? Instead of attacking this turn, Chibi decided to take a more tactical advantage. He stared deep into the eye of Liberty. He learned all of Liberty's statistical disadvantages and advantages, and made them his own. He was now sure how to hit Liberty with full force.
(Poochyena: -6 Energy, All stat modifiers discarded, +2 DEF, -1 SPD]
[No rolls were necessary for this round]

The sun's heat began to fall a few tones down. Puffy white clouds flowed down the clear skies, and a soft, refreshing wind passed through.

Fross was more than irritated at the burns that he was afflicted with, but he tried his best not to be too affected by them. Flapping his wings together, he shot out several stars that flew at lightning speed. The stars surrounded the two enemies at first, but soon, the stars diverted from their normal path and began to hit them with great force.
(Poochyena: -6 Health, Tympole: -10 Health, Starly: -5 Energy, -6 Health from burn, BURNED for 4 more turns, TAILWIND for 1 more turn)
[Critical hit rolls: 43 (Chibi) and 52 (Frogger), with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Frogger was reaching a critical point in terms of health and energy. She had to get rid of Liberty quickly, or else she may not last that long. She found a moist area in the ground and began to extract water from it. However, it was murky and disgusting; just the way she wanted it. She rode the wave of dirty water, which slammed down upon Fross and Liberty. Both were dirty after that, and some damage was dealt.

[Accuracy rolls: 48 (Fross) and 1 (Liberty), with 1-85 hitting | Critical hit rolls: 17 (Fross) and 93 (Liberty) with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Liberty was beginning to notice that the tailwind that Fross set up was beginning to peter out. Liberty decided to take full advantage of what was left of the dying winds and dash forth in damaging Frogger a tad more. It was sure that it would defeat Frogger once and for all; that Muddy Water was her final hurrah. Liberty showed no mercy in this attack, dealing as much damage as possible to Frogger, but what was this? Liberty's charge was way off; Frogger managed to dodge, leading Liberty straight into a rock.
(Attack MISSED, Beldum:-7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 97, with 1-90 hitting]

Chibi was not going to let Frogger go unguarded. He covered her by keeping Liberty at bay from a retaliation by firing a Shadow Ball. Liberty spun around, intending to get Frogger back for that cheap trick, but it wasn't ready to face a ball of dark energy headed right towards its face. Liberty wasn't sure how to react, and the ball hit successfully. Liberty emerged from the smoke, thoroughly embarrassed.
(Beldum: -8 Health, Poochyena: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 87, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 59, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Hydro Pump

With the last attack being rather successful, Fross decided to use Swift once more. He generated the stars and sent them flying, and as hard as Chibi and Frogger tried, they were unable to dodge the attack. Both were hit fairly hard, but both were still standing. They weren't going down without a fight, but the fight was getting tougher...Fross wasn't too happy either, as his burns were getting to him, and his tailwind suddenly disappeared.
(Poochyena: -6 Health, Tympole: -10 Health, Starly: -5 Energy, -6 Health from burn, BURNED for 3 more turns, TAILWIND petered out)
[Critical hit rolls: 43 (Chibi) and 52 (Frogger)]

Frogger saw this as a critical chance to take Fross down a few pegs. She went out bold and bad with a huge attack; Hydro Pump would be unleashed. The ray of forceful water blew towards Fross. Fross tried to dodge, but the pump proved too large to handle; Fross was accordingly hit and winded. But further, it hit a fragile joint in Fross's wing, sending him spiraling down to the ground. A critical hit! The damage proved fatal, as Fross was not getting up. He had fainted. Of course, the damage took its toll on Frogger as well...
(Starly: -21 Health, FAINTED, Tympole: -10 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 9, with 1-80 hitting | Critical hit roll: 2, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

Chibi found the petering tailwind an Arceus-send; she would be able to outrun Liberty this time! Chibi let out a drowsy yawn, and made it loud enough for Liberty to hear. Liberty began to feel drowsy just looking at Chibi. Liberty felt its own processes become slower and slower...
(Beldum: Drowsy, Poochyena: -6 Energy)
[No rolls were necessary for this turn]

As much as Liberty just wanted to power down, it knew that it had to attack, or it may not get another chance. The Beldum tried the same maneuver that failed last turn, and hoped to take Frogger down once and for all. It dashed haphazardly ahead, making sure that Frogger wouldn't be able to dodge this time. It managed to land a hit this time, and this time it was the end...or was it? Once again, Liberty's moves proved futile; the attack wasn't enough to defeat Frogger.
(Tympole: -9 Health, Beldum: -7 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 29, with 1-80 hitting | Critical hit roll: 61, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

The weather had managed to stay clear and peaceful for some time, and the forecast showed for prolonged clarity.

Frogger was not going to get any attacks in, that was for darn sure. Thus, she left her fate in Chibi's hands. In the meantime, she took a well deserved rest, having especially taken a beating. She closed her eyes, and tried to receive as much rest as she could in the meantime. Otherwise, there wasn't much else she could do...
(Tympole: +6 Energy)
[No rolls were required for this turn]

Chibi knew that with their tailwind gone, not only did they have a 2-on-1 fight, he also knew that they had the speed advantage. Likewise, he knew that defending Frogger was a top priority. He ran towards where Frogger lay resting, defending her from Liberty's oncoming attack. Liberty wouldn't let anything past it, although it could begin to feel itself slowing down. Its vision became fuzzy so in attacking, it wasn't at full attacking power. Furthermore, the hit did nothing to Chibi, being a Dark-type and immune to Liberty's psychic moves. With the damage totally reflected, Liberty flipped backwards, powering down entirely.

Frogger was ready to finally take the pesky Liberty out, especially having endured all this pain. She wanted to see some results. She began to boil water inside her mouth, and, when it reached a high enough temperature, she fired it and soaked Liberty. Despite the overall damage it inflicted, the Beldum was still sound asleep.

Chibi was delighted to see how easy this was going to be. Taking his firing fangs, he ran towards Liberty and clamped his jaws firmly upon Liberty's neck. Liberty remained fast asleep, and Chibi was trying to clamp down harder. However, Liberty's stiff coat and overall defenses made this exceedingly difficult.

Frogger had just about enough. She couldn't hold on for any longer at this rate. She had to switch out. In her place, Speedy came back out to lay the final blows to Liberty.

Chibi knew that he didn't have much time before he would get too exhausted to continue. Chibi decided to take an easier route and fired off a Dark Pulse. The ray of dark energy enveloped Liberty. Though no apparent damage was evident, Chibi and Speedy knew that Liberty wouldn't be able to hang on forever.
(Beldum: -10 Health, Poochyena: -6 Energy)
[Accuracy roll: 73, with 1-100 hitting | Critical hit roll: 30, with 1-6 being a critical hit]

And Liberty remained fast asleep. It would be a while before Liberty could even awaken.

[No rolls were required for this turn]

Soon, it became noticeably warmer. The sun was ablaze once more.

Let's finish this up! Chibi, use another Dark Pulse; that Beldum can't dodge anything while it's sleeping! Speedy, deliver the final blow with a Bug Buzz!

Nincada: Bug Buzz @ Beldum ~ Poochyena: Dark Pulse @ Beldum

Chibi saw the Beldum fast asleep and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to attack. Chibi imbued his mind with dark thoughts and a menacing dark halo formed above his head. When Chibi barked, the halo turned into a dark shockwave and struck the Beldum while it slept. The impact caused Liberty to twitch in his sleep, as if it was flinching.

(Liberty: -9 Health / Chibi: -7 Energy)

Liberty could feel dark thoughts entering his head and he struggled in his sleep as if he was in a nightmare, but he was unable to wake up from it!

(Liberty: ASLEEP for 2 more turns)

Speedy, with the help of Chibi then decided to take down Liberty as well. Speedy opened his mouth and started emitting high-frequency sounds toward Liberty as it continued to sleep. The sound waves tortured Liberty in his sleep. Liberty felt his body vibrate heavily from the sound waves from Speedy and he felt his nightmare get worse. Liberty passed out in his deep sleep and laid on the ground, not moving. Liberty was now unable to battle further.

(Liberty: -10 Health; FAINTED / Speedy: -8 Energy)
