You don't need to get 100 posts in a day, just be active and the ad should be gone in a week or less.

I had the ad until I got 100 posts and I haven't seen it since.

That's because I only added it a couple weeks ago. You already had well over 100 posts by the time it was put up.

The ad isn't horrible, and will be gone (or shifted to the bottom of the screen) once you reach 100 posts. This can be over any period of time - you do not need to maintain that amount of posts ever day, week, year, etc.

Additionally I have added this entry to the Teachy TV thread:

Q: How do I get rid of the advertisement at the top of the page?
A: Once you register and reach 100 posts it will be removed. There is no time limit in doing this - once you have posted 100 posts in a post-counting forum (/b/uizel does not count towards these 100 posts, for instance), it will be gone for good, and you can do this in a single day or a year. If you would like to speed this period up, try posting in the introduction forum and have people ask questions about you. Just make sure that you follow the rules and don't spam.
