Speaking of which, last call on Knox.

Either there's a hint of randomness or it resets undug spots after two days since I'm getting four of them today after getting only three for two days. Not counting pitfall seeds.

Oh, and by the way, I don't need the balloon vanity anymore. I shot down one.

If someone could sell me a sewing machine, that would be phenomenal. I need one to complete a room I am working on.

I'm trying to come up with ideas on what could work in certain rooms, and so far have posted them as they come to mind, haha. Thankfully I have got the majority of what I need now.

Your neighbors will actually water some of your flowers automatically while you're playing. (and plant flowers, which can be slightly annoying if they plant them in the wrong patch)

Also, today is Saturday and it's my last day to sell 6,000 turnips. If anyone has any turnip prices above 100, I'll gladly take up the offer and give you a rare item in return.

Well, you're in luck. My turnips are 109 for the rest of today. However, I'm leaving for work in three hours, then I'll be back at midnight Pacific, and Re-Tail closes at 2 am Pacific. If anyone wants to unload their turnips and at least get money back, I'll let you in.

Mine are being bought for 119 if anyone is interested since I checked. I don't know when I'll be on but I have late night oridance so I think my Retail closes the same time as Cats. Just a heads up.

Isabelle just likes to see me pay disposal fees. The fountain fireworks she keeps giving me have a 200 bell disposal fee at Re-Tail. :L

Otherwise, I'm loving all of these retro Nintendo items~

That was surprisingly simple. Reun and I managed to get two sets (one each) of all eight of the items with almost no extras.

A tip: if you have a trash bin, go ahead and throw the dud tickets in there after you get enough sparklers/roman candles. Throw used fireworks in there too.

I need a Love Tester to complete the set if anyone has an extra. I got extra Ten Billion Barrel, lovely phone, Ultra Hand, and Ultra Machine if you want to trade.

Can I just trade away two of my Ultra Hands for any two distinct items?

If you successfully invite someone in a campsite to stay in your town, what's the gap between invite and move-in?

Usually about 2-5 days. Of course a house needs to be planned and built before they move in most of the time.

Looks like some new DLC items (pumpkin pie, afternoon tea set, and slushie machine) are going to be available in North America at Nintendo Zones (such as McDonald's and Starbucks, and not limited to just Best Buy) this month and next month:

You can also get the fireworks table through ordinary SpotPass at home throughout August:

I read something online that might help; when the villagers order, the amount of the milk is the same as the sugar. So if they ask for "The regular amount" of milk (or the second option), then they'll want 2 spoonfuls of sugar; if they want no sugar, then they'll want no milk. BUT this doesn't always apply to the Special NPC's.

Over the last week or two, my town has gotten a great villager facelift. In short, I lost Mira, Whitney, and T-Bone (who gave me his pic as a good-bye gift ;_;) and acquired Peck, Skye, and through a TON of soft resets Keaton. I also convinced Biskit to move into my town, which is amazing because he is my all time favorite villager. With the recent move-ins, I have been resetting to move villagers into specific plots of land. It may be tedious, but should I ever decided to introduce paths it should be of great help.

I've noticed that my villagers have actually been suggesting a lot of public works projects, and one has started sending me mail unprovoked. I should probably raise my friendship with her more.

I believe you can open them. If a villager moves out, it should turn to trash. Otherwise, if the villager is still there, just bury it and leave it overnight. It should reappear should the villager want it back.

Hey, if you've got an American copy of the game, you should receive a little surprise--a letter in the mail--from Isabelle with a shaved-ice lamp attached, a rare item that formerly was exclusive to Belgium.

Strange. The time capsule was actually Alice's; when she moved out, the next day, the dig spot automatically (along with her mail telling me to get it up) surfaced and the time capsule can be read and opened. I've done both.

Now it's taking up one letter space.

I still have no idea how you guys get those time capsule events.

Do you need to be good friends with a neighbor before they move out?

It's just one of the random things they ask you to do. I got hide 'n' seek for the first time today. I also have finally hit my 50th day playing (yay, big tree in the plaza), and I've been buying Leif's plants almost every day, so I should get my golden axe soon.

Make sure you have space in your letter inventory. It took me a while to get a time capsule because I often had a full stack of letters. But yeah, time capsule events are not too common, and you'll have villagers asking for other jobs more often.

If only they allowed saving time capsules to the post office.

In other news, Hippeux is leaving on the 12th. It's like there's a mass exodus going on in my town!

Kody left me a time capsule. I buried it, and then my bro dug it up without knowing... So neither of us knew what it was....

I got an extra Sloppy Stereo and Sloppy Table if anyone is interested. Asking 300k each, or 500k for both.

Also got another picture dump coming soon.

Oh, let me know if anyone is looking for any K.K. Slider songs in particular. I've got about 35 of them.

I'm not really looking for anything specific, but if you've got anything that's not K.K. Groove or Forest Life, I'd pay good money for that.

(You should be able to buy extra copies off the catalogue!)

If you have Comrade K.K. , I'll gladly try to ... Well I'm poor and I don't actually have much, you'd actually need to talk to me to know what I have to offer.

Yes, I finally did it! Buying all those flower bags from Leif got me a Silver Can. This'll hold me off for a few weeks while I work harder towards Golden Can's beauty... But I still don't know how long to the Golden Axe. At this rate, probably September...

But now the new dilemma is working on my perfect town. I have to learn how to let go of my trees and meadows so I can build more stuff, but... it took so long to build... the forest is my child...

Just as a heads up tomorrow is my birthday and because me and my dad are without transportation I'm going to be stuck at home all day. So I'd really appreciate it if I got a lot of people to visit my town on Animal Crossing tomorrow because I'll probably be playing it all day.

It's a shame my 3DS can't connect to the wifi I'm using currently. I tried it yesterday, but it didn't work. >_> Hope you don't mind a belated present.

I realized that I haven't played in like a good 2 weeks because of how busy I am. I hope it doesn't turn into one of those weed-filled wastelands like I see in my nightmares...

The fireworks show last night was prettyful~ I just wish I didn't forget to play earlier, everything I wanted to do had to wait because stuff was closed. But if one good thing came out of it, it was this.

I managed to get all four of the boppers...but more importantly, I passed 1.1 million points for my HHA score, meaning I am no longer held under their clutches.

If anyone wants a complete modern or sleek set, let me know!

The weeds that don't look like overgrown grass, they kind of remind me of four leaf clovers. Are they actually good luck occurrences, like how dandelions are for fun if you let them grow? I'm probably unknowingly showering myself with bad luck.

And will people from the tent in the camping site move into your town? Since two unfortunately moved out I could use someone new...

Every time there's someone in the campsite, you can get them to stay in your town. How? Keep talking to them. Do things. Even if you get rejected, keep, keep trying. You have an entire day until you get an OK from them.

When they accept your invitation, it'll take a few days before their land plot shows up.

They are indeed clovers. Occasionally, when you pick them, you'll get a four-leaf clover, and those do increase your luck and are worth a nice amount of HHA points (7,777 I believe) when placed inside your house.

It's too bad I don't really care about the HHA. Maybe someday. But I could use a good amount of good luck. I know that means money and no more tripping! SAKURAAAAAAAI! Maybe one day I'll turn off the Beauty ordinance and start hunting.

And so... today is Croque's last day here in the Flower Meadow. His house looks so depressing with all his stuff (that I wanted, that jerk >:I) in boxes. Sigh... when you leave I think I'll turn your house into a bench...

I just started making a pathway system in my own town. I'm also trying to collect a bunch of shrubbery starts from Leif. I have a ton of Sweet Olive starts if anyone wants those. Trying to get this all done before college is going to be tough though...

Oh, and I've also switched to the Beautiful Town ordinance so that I don't have to worry about my flowers anymore.

I think I may turn off the Beautiful Town ordinance soon. The villagers keep planting these flowers everywhere that run the design I have around the trees. I have nowhere to put them so I just dig at them to get rid of them. And I need a reason to use the watering can more often for more than just pretty sparklies, especially if I'm gonna have a golden can soon.

I think I'm almost done paying off my house, too. If all I have to do is expand each room twice, then I'll be done with it in about two weeks. Then Tom Nook and his evil self can EAT IT!

I prefer growing all my own flowers. But, how do I get blue things anyway? It stumps me because blue is a primary color.

It's complicated from what I've read. You need to cross Purple roses with Orange ones and collect the few Red roses that are made. Then you need to cross those Red roses together, which will make blue roses.

It's a pain in the butt when you check those red rose patches each day and find Pink roses or more Red roses as a result. >_>

Purple roses? I don't think I can get those in that color...

Now, how do you get villagers to recommend more projects to you? I'm slowly running out and I'm sure my town won't become more perfect with just the same few yellow benches thrown everywhere.

I now got a decent amount of Blue Roses growing all over my town.

But I haven't barely any Pink Roses which I need just as much. Would anyone be willing to trade some Pink Roses to me?

I think I've played enough Manimal Offspring for one night.

I don't know what's worse; the fact that I spend so much time getting all these Bells or the fact that 90% of them will be gone by tomorrow. Things are getting more and more expensive with each passing day... yet the perfect town is still out of my reach...

Once you pay off your house (about 7.5 million bells) you won't have money woes.

It gets pretty bad towards the end, as all the max room sizes are 598,000 bells per room.

Well... if I run out of Public Works Projects to completely fund in a day then I might be able to completely pay off each room each morning... that is if I get double the Bells every. Single. Night.

Maybe I should just start lining my entire beach with nothing but Bell bags and call it "Avant Garde Design: New Leaf Style."

...Will having a perfect house help towards my perfect town or is that just something to do for myself/the HHA?

You do know you can store money in the ABD, right? Or are you making it so you can visualize your funds?

A perfect house (that is, one with a high score) is only for HHA rewards. Once I finished, I got only the gold mailbox so I could say I completed it.

I'm a tough banker. If money goes into the bank, then there's a 1% chance that I'll even think about taking it out. Besides how can you pass up something as scenic as a beach covered in Bells?

...Still don't care about the HHA, still want a really big house.

This is exactly what you must do. Every day from 7 PM to 11 PM (Well, depending on your ordinance. Reese closes up at 11 for me.) Let it consume you. There will be nothing but the New Leaf Island. (It's annoying at first but gets better over time.)

Heh.

I sleep late, wake up late. Night Owl for me, so... all the way until 2 AM for Reese to take my beetles. About somewhere between 30,000 to 50,000 Bells for every 12 items.

Heh, you're not doing it right, then. I always get 80,000 to 150,000 for every 10 beetles. I guess Night Owl would help me with this, but... doesn't that mean Reese would open later too?

But I'm fine with the daily round as it is now. I don't know, I just think I'm addicted to... The Beetles! Hahahahaha *shoots self in the foot*

Here's the problem after you've paid off your house and most public works projects: you don't have much to spend bells on. Besides filling up the catalog with random furniture and making slight modifications to the exterior of my house, there isn't much else left.

Besides my blue rose challenge, I might as well try working on my rooms. Until recently I got both the Gold and Silver plaques from the HHA. (I wasn't even trying and I got 70,000 points as a result ._.) Once I get up to 100,000 points, I'm ditching that annoying balloon room in my house. I'll be giving away all of my balloon furniture when that happens.

As soon as I have my perfect can, perfect house, and perfect town I won't need to play the Capitalist Leaf game anymore. I'll start having FUN on the island again. Maybe even start on reworking the forest to look better.

That also reminded me on how much I want a second copy of this game (or some way to modify my entire town for a day) so I can build the great Mario Party project. Still working on how that would function, but once I have an idea in my head you can't stop the party train! Choo choo k' choo!

(Considering how common balloon furniture is, I'd just sell it.)

Hey, I had a Mario Party project idea ever since I saw Mario Party tiles on QRCrossing. Of course, I gave up on that idea once I realized it wouldn't be as pretty as I'd want it to be.

But yeah, there really isn't much to spend bells on once you finish the houses. There are lots of public works, but you still have to wait a while to get them. I'm still personally working on designing the rooms in my main house. I've got four ideas down, and two are practically done.

The only bad thing that happened was this random jerk moved in and killed a fruit tree. I can't even remember what kind of fruit! We won't like each other, but let it be known there are no more random move-ins! This I swear!

I didn't get a picture of this (actually I think I couldn't get one) but the HHA sent me a letter saying I got over 10,000 points. I don't exactly know how, considering I don't try to... but yay for me!

I even have a celebratory song for this moment. GETTING SO MUCH BETTER ALL THE TIME~♪!

I successfully rigged the bug contest. I won first place, second place, and third place.

You winning as Zoroark and that other guy in your town doesn't count.

I've also completed my path project and now I can work with tree, shrub, and flower placement. :3

I have taken on a new initiative: evict Anicotti and Klaus from my village for the good of a future pathway. I have nothing against Anicotti (though I do hate Klaus), but my desire to make a lovely town depends on houses which line up well enough to make a pathway which doesn't zig-zag erratically. I have also been fortunate to obtain a great number of villagers who I really love, so perhaps the two animals who replace the aforementioned miscreants will allow me to have a perfect ten. One can only hope.

In other news, Hypno K.K, a tune which until now was synonymous with the creepy Aika village, has since become an entirely new song for me. The live version is really fantastic. K.K. Disco and K.K. Hypno are now my favorite two live songs.

I still want to get rid of Kyle specifically because of his terrible house placement: right in front of my house. Must...replace...house...with...fountain...
