Well... I pre-made my team(except for totodile) to have awesome stats and I gave them calciums etc... It consists of mostly johto pokemon except for shinx obviously. I only leveled them to level 4.

Well, my team from Platinum would be Typhlosion, Electivire, Dugtrio, Sceptile, Blastoise, and Gardevoir. My team in HG will be completely made up on the go.
Also Magmaster...the LP isn't up yet...because HGSS isn't OUT YET IN AMERICA... |

hmm if your looking to win probably your old team just to be safe since you know how the ultimately function. Im making a few more pokemon to my team but im not sure if they'll do good in the tournament since im not fully familiar with how they will work together. .-.

I traded a couple in only because people kept giving me "tips", which turned into trades. Eventually I wound up using that traded Buizel, Espeon, and Tyranitar all the way to the Elite 4 and on to Red.

I'd catch them on your HG/SS, and then trade them to platinum and EV them, etc., and trade back, but not use outsider pokemon, or any other imported ones.
Idk, it just seems right. |
