Default Dream World in RSE?

I was playing Emerald the other day and there is one person in the Devon Corp. building who says he's working on an invention to enter pokemons dreams but it isn't done yet.

Could this be how the dream world can be entered in remakes for Ruby and Sapphire?

You know, that does sound plausible...it's first seen early in the game, it has to do with dreams, and you help out that corporation a lot anyways...yeah, that might work.

Well, its possible. However, just because of one quote doesn't mean that it could be proof of a dream world. Who knows there may not even be a RSE remake... Wait a minute, what am I saying! Pokemon is a cash cow. Of course they're going to do it. Although we may not see the remake until around 2013-14. In fact, they're probably working on it right now as we speak.

It is fun to speculate though and it would be very neat if game freak does incorporate does incorporate a dream world.

That does actually sound very likely. Along with the above comments, this is going to technically be a 5th Gen. game, so not adding this is like not adding that Battle Frontier in front of Olivine City in HGSS.

6th Gen? If RSE remakes would be done, this Gen would be the one to do it in...

And more on topic, it certainly could happen! A Lass in Red and Blue commented on how the Pokemon of Dark Tunnel were too lumpy, and she wondered if there was one with a floral pattern, which is a lot like a certain Gen. 5 Pokemon...

This does sound like it could happen, although there's always a chance of it being a coincidence, who knows?

Ah, you beat me to it.

Anyways, it seems plausible for the Dream World to be incorporated in the remakes of Ruby/Sapphire (if they're going to be made anyways). Therefore, it could certainly happen in the future, but no one can be sure about it yet, obviously.

I'd say that the remake of Gen III will appear in this generation. Most probably, after two years.

I honestly don't want a remake until they can do it /right/... Black and white aren't doing it /right/, imo. ...Of course, the odds of another DS game in light of the 3DS are unlikely, and right there is my main issue...

Anywho, its a fun idea - should write to GameFreak or somefin'.

I agree with Spirit.

Awesome though! It is so interesting how much of a "twist" is in the Pokemon games!

Oh my god, no wai.

Could the entire Dream World be a reference to that statement all the way back in RSE?

Maybe GameFreak had that idea all along, and only got it fully developed 2 generations later?

Sorta makes sense how Remake Ruby Sapph would have the Dream World feature, seeing as how HGSS takes place after the events of GSC, Remake RS would most likely take place after Original RSE.

Well, having the ability to enter a Pokémon's dreams, I'm sure they initially didn't plan it, but most likely they look back to the older generations to see what they can do today.

LOL, I read the first post, there was a person in the game that said that? Wow I love how Nintendo does these things

It's like this.
