R.I.P. Ralph Baer
Today, Ralph Baer, the "father of video games", has passed away at the age of 92.
Baer was the creator of the original Magnavox Odyssey (first home video game system) back in 1972. Who knows if we would have our Nintendos and PlayStations today if it weren't for this man. In addition to the Odyssey, he also created the light gun (think NES Zapper) and helped develop the popular electronic memory game Simon.
