Default La vers da Quad

To be honest, I don't speak French (I believe that's French in the title anyway). Translation of the title: "The poetry of Quad" or "The verse of Quad"
Every now and again, I feel the need to write some poetry regarding life. You know? Deep stuff. This thread probably won't be updated very often, but hopefully the poetry you will read in this thread will make you think deep.

Without further ado, I present my first poem of this thread:

The Birth of Robots

What a world we live in where
Everyone can connect with one
Another, yet loneliness can still tear
At one's mind and make the heart run.

Yes, everyone I ever knew is just a stroke
Away, but given the history of people
It would only make sense as to why I cloak
Myself and always keep my glass full.

People have lost care for their fellow man
Thanks to advancing the trinkets in their pouch.
There's no need to have life-like robots in
Life - they're everywhere, lying on the couch.

Another little poem I wrote while in school. I'd like it if you pictured what the poem says then try to think about what I actually meant.

Frontline

They say home is where the heart is.
Well then my home is a mess. Blood
Is everywhere, the floor is torn up,
And inconsiderate people bring mud
Inside. They even shot my pup.

A man tried getting in my home -
Worst mistake he ever made today.
He pointed a gun at me and I at him.
Had to dump his dead body down the bay,
Where I would go as a kid just to play.

All of my buddies wish for that time
Again. A time where the neighbor could
Be looked down on for what he did twenty
Years ago... strange - a man once stood
here. Guess I gotta get the quicklime.

About time I decided to post this next poem. There's a very good reason why I wrote it backwards. Something about backwards and not being right is what I was thinking when I wrote this. Also, I apologize if it's a bit hard-to-read. Had a hard time getting the entire poem in the shot. Plus, you know, I wrote it backwards.
