Default 3DS System Transfer Help

I bought a Seafoam 2DS today to replace my broken XL. Does anyone know if I can transfer my download games to the new system?

Contact Nintendo, and have your serial numbers for both systems ready. They can immediately transfer licenses, but your saved data may be toast. (If I recall correctly, you bought New Leaf digitally...sadly, it would include that because the ID of the last save is stored on the 3DS itself, not the SD card.) They MIGHT be able to do something about that, but that would involve sending your system in for repairs and likely paying a fee.

Out of curiosity, any idea what happened to it? Did it just stop working spontaneoudly one day or something?

I put it in sleep mode for the night. When I came home from school the next day, the power was off, so I plugged it in. When I went to turn it on, I got nothing. So it just stopped working without any warning. I sent it in to a local ace for repairs with no avail. They said it was a bad charge circuit. I haven't found anything on the topic online.
