Default Posting guide.

How to write a post
Before you post your next action in the Traka Region, you must know what your are posting about. Planning and knowing just what your character is going to do before you post it. Know what you are going to say to the people, and know where you are going to walk. You should start your post right after the action the the Mod had posted prior.

EXAMPLE POSTER: Joshua then opened the large doors before him and walk through.

MOD: A small old man was standing across the room, he was watering some strange flowers in exotic and gold pots.

EXAMPLE POSTER: Joshua craned his head over and to the man. "Hello sir, I am Josh. Emma told me to come find you." Josh walked in closer to speak to him.

That should be something that you always do. But then you may ask where you should stop a post. You should almost always end a post where you start something. That is confusing, I know. Let me explain. When ever you are entering a new town, house, building, gym, park, like... ANYTHING, that is when you should quit. It is best that you end your post there because then the Mod can tell you what things look like, where things are and what you can see. Remembering to end posts upon arrival in a town is important.

Another thing that you need to do, which I have mentioned, is add as much content as possible. When you are done writing your original post, you should make sure that there is enough content for a Mod to play off of. This is an RP, not a race to the finish! So having fun and thoroughly writing your posts are the post important thing. It is understandable in some occasions that your post isn't going to be that long.

EXAMPLE POSTER: Gary walked into the building by the PokeCenter.

MOD: When Gary walked into the building he could see that there was really nothing in that house. He had walked into a grey living-room. There was only a couch, a TV, and a bookshelf. Besides the boring and the subtle feel of the room, there was 6 closed doors in that room. There was three on each side of Gary and none on the wall in front of him.

EXAMPLE POSTER: Gary was confused by the doors. He went over to the tallest one and opened it.

You see? That is a good example of one that doesn't need to be that long. But you should always try not to do those kinds of posts.

How to battle people and Pokemon

Battling is really easy. And has a simple format. Battling is the way to check when a pokemons stats change, moves changes, or its level has increased. So everytime you are in a battle, your pokemon might have changed a little. Here is an example of a battle.

MOD: Suddenly a wild Rattata came from the bushes.

POSTER: Harry sent out his trusty Cleffa, for he knew that Cleffa could handle this battle.

MOD:
Pokémon Sprite 173
Cleffa (Female) - Level 25 - Ability: Cute Charm
Magical Leaf - Copycat - Sing - Psychic
HP: 50/50

Pokémon Sprite 19
Rattata (Female) - Level 19 - Ability: Run Away
Suck Punch - Pursuit - Hyper Fang - Bite
HP: 40/40

POSTER: "Cleffa, use Magical Leaf!" Harry proclaimed.

MOD:
Rattata used Bite.

Pokémon Sprite 173
Cleffa (Female) - Level 25 - Ability: Cute Charm
Magical Leaf - Copycat - Sing - Psychic
HP: 40/50

Pokémon Sprite 19
Rattata (Female) - Level 19 - Ability: Run Away
Suck Punch - Pursuit - Hyper Fang - Bite
HP: 28/40

Then it would go on until obviously one of the challenges pokemon all faint. You will do this with for Gyms, Trainers, and wild Pokemon.

Using/Apply Items

This is a simple and important subject. You use this with TMs, HMs, Potions, Pokeballs, etc. To use them, you need to make a post (or say within a post), that you are using this item, then say how many of these you have, and who you are using on. The basics really. That is why you need to have an inventory that is always updated in you Trainer Profile. You get more of these from exploring the town, talking to people, and looking in places.

Routes
ALL the routes that you travel will be posted in the town that you are leaving. It is simple. So if you are going from Oldoak to Paradora, then you would be posting in Oldoak Town until you have reached Paradora. If you are going from Seaside City to Forksdale, you would be posting int Forksdale until then.

But it you are in Epacs, going to Forksdale, but you have already been there, then you will just have to keep posting in the thread that you have already made for that town.
