Default US Election 2016

As a final reminder, for those of us in the United States, if you haven't voted yet, you've got only a few hours left to do so.

Well I'm very depressed Trump is probably going to win this is a giant step backwards for the progressive movements we've had over the years, keep in mind his vice president believes in gay conversion therapy. And a giant step forwards for ignorance.

I just hope my friends from Michigan on this site didn't vote for Trump.

To all of my friends who are Muslim, Mexican, female, gay or a bunch of other things, I sincerely apologize on behalf of my phenotype. To everyone else, it looks like we discovered the answer to the Fermi paradox.

I'm personally hoping Donald Trump does not get trigger-happy with the nuclear football, seriously consider the wall on the Mexican border, or generally upset other countries to start a war.

Johnson had quite a few votes throughout the country, as of now over 3% of the popular vote. That's quite significant and could've given Clinton the victory had he not run. (The term for that is "spoiler candidate.") Whom they would've voted for is debatable.

Also, here are two moments that the votes were very close in Florida and New Hampshire, under 100 votes at each time, as a reminder that you should vote if you want to have a voice.

I just hope this all ends up to not amounting much.

America...
You had ONE job...

Don't put that lying, cheating, racist, sexist, short-tempered, schizophrenic thing in command of 319 million people's lives.....

Don't like Hillary? Fine I get it, she isn't perfect and has a bunch of skeletons in her closet. However she would at least progressed the country a bit and wouldn't launch a nuke just because someone called her a name on Twitter. Once again, popular vote (barely) would have put her in office, but no that's too simple of a thing to count, and the electoral vote gave Drumf a landslide victory. Then to make matters worse, both the house and senate will be republican, so whatever Drumf wants will be signed in no questions asked with no democratic checks/balances.

I can't even right now.

At this point the one thing keeping me from dancing in the street with "the end is near" signs is the awkward hope that even the conservative half of the Supreme Court will realize the difference between "right wing" and . . . . . . . . whatever the alternative is.

It hasn't even been a day yet and I already see the hate speech free-for-all, right here in bluest-of-the-blue New Jersey.

This blog post, written by a liberal whose site is highly patronized by liberals, may help reassure those who feel like we're doomed. Note that there is a fair amount of language.

For my friends in Nevada at least you managed to vote in the first Latina Senator and I like her already.
