Re: Top million websites worldwide
Yeah, I have a feeling those are responsible for the spammer influx we have been having recently.
Mods and Assistant Mods: If you find any spam topics just delete them. Don't bother with banning, Cat and I just delete their accounts as it gets them out of the system completely. Cat and I are generally on here all day to take care of stuff but if you notice anything at night when we aren't here, just delete the posts and we'll take care of the rest You wanted more page hits Cat, you got them |

Re: Top million websites worldwide
scott turn on/install Textual Confirmation
http://bbantispam.com/tc/ Textual Confirmation (TC) asks newly registering user a question. If the answer is wrong, TC rejects the registration. Also, TC notifies the forum admin and the community spam database. so you could ask pokemon questions or something about the site(S) |

Re: Top million websites worldwide
OK, I have an idea for a test, where the questions change every time. If they get at least 8 right (out of 10 metaphorically speaking) their account is made. If not, they don't. Of course, somebody's probably gonna get past that if there are only about 100 possible questions.
