Due to Giratina519's Inactivity for over a week, I gave the win to Pianomaster19 who has been ready and waiting. If he does not log in for another 3 days or so, I will eliminate him from the tournament. Here are the current brackets!

Got the best of Pianomaster19 5-0... He showed great sportsmanship allowing me to thaw from an unlucky freeze by recovering his Pokemon! That shows true character!!!

Which also caused my downfall incidently by not predicting a thaw (but who does really) when he got it and allowing my physical wall to take an extra hit. Nonetheless I played a bit too aggressively after that trying to come back and failed. Congrats to Matty for moving on!

Hello everyone! I would like to propose an idea in which you guys can give me some feed back on! As most of you probably know, this tournament is going to be bi-annual which allows the "Champion of Victory Road" title to change hands twice a year. With school coming up, intensive tournaments will be tough to have so I was thinking we could do something more light-hearted from now until winter break. What I have in mind is a Victory Road Team Tournament! The idea is to have 5 teams with 4 people on each team. To determine the teams, I will have the players who place top 5 in this tournament become team captains. From there, a snake-draft (one which starts with the player who places 1st, then 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and then wraps around in the order 5,4,3,2,1) will be implemented to determine who is on which team. Each team will battle each once which means every player will have ideally 4 battles. The tiers that will be played are OU, UU, RU, and NU in which every player will get to play one battle in each of the aforementioned tiers by the end of the tournament. The team with the most INDIVIDUAL wins will be Victory Road's championship team! I will try to come up with some cool prize ideas for the winning team. What do you guys think? Feel free to shoot me suggestions about ANYTHING!

I feel we should have a limit on OU Pokemon to like, 1. Lol. I'm kind of tired of battling Rotoms and Thunduras all the time. Just to keep win chances from being only about the Pokemon. That team battle seems interesting, but gathering 20 people who'll participate on this forum can be challenging.

- Very close to the end guys. What a ride it has been so far. 16 competitors narrowed down to 5. Who will be the one to leave this tournament the Champion of Victory Road? |

I escaped my bout with Trees with a 2-0 win. There was some crucial hax on both sides and nonetheless it was a great game! Trees takes a strong 3rd place!!!!!!!!!
As for the finals, Kakashidragon and I will face off soon to determine the CHAMPION OF VICTORY ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For Kakashi to win, he only needs to beat me once whereas I will need to win twice in a row to emerge victorious. I will give it my all and then some! Good luck Kakashi!!!!!!! |

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE VICTORY ROAD CHAMPION KAKASHIDRAGON!!! He beat me 2-0 in a tough battle. I made one big over prediction that cost me the match and he took advantage of it and brought home the win!!! I will try to figure out a good prize for him for winning!
- Thank you so much to everyone who participated! I had a great time and I would NOT have been able to do it without all of you!!! I will be holding this tournament over winter break as well so I hope you all play again! Until then, congratulations Champion Kakashi!!!!!!! |
