The City From The Dark: The Secret Pokémon

Prologue

I sat up and blinked the dirt outta my eyes. I dusted myself off and looked around. What just happened, an earthquake?
I looked to my side. Where was Rift at? I panicked
"Rift!" I yelled. "Rift!" I got up and started searching for Rift. I couldn't find my best friend. Then some rubble shifted and I heard a cough. I ran over to it and started digging. I searched the aura field and saw the shape of an Umbreon. "Rift!" I yelled with releif.
I dug a little more and I found his head. I dug out the dirt around him with aura and pulled him out.
He coughed, "Eric?" he sputtered, "What happened?"
"I don't know..." I said a little confused.
I looked up and around. And I noticed in the distance a giant mountain that looked like it was holding a giant city on it. Above it was a giant dark cloud spiraling above it. My eyes went wide.
"What is it Eric?" he said then coughed.
"I...don't know" I replied with fear in my voice.
This was bad.
