Program(s)
Eh, just a general question to you artists out there.
What programs do you use to create your works of art? Be it sprites, traditional art, or a nice banner. Ever since I started spriting, I have been using MS Paint. It's real simple, but it has the tools I need, and it's not as complicated as GIMP or Paint.NET. I occasionally use GIMP though, too. But that's really only if I'm doing an avatar or a pixel over. ChibiPaint all the way!
I also use GIMP, Paint.net, and PaintTool Sai. I might use OpenCanvas too if I decide I like it. |

I use paint.net. It hasn't yet given me any real problems.

I used to use MS Paint for everything, now I use Paint.net. But I also use GIMP sometimes for extra effects. hopefully in the future I will get to a point where I only use GIMP for graphics.
Oh, but if I ever sprite again (not likely) I'll use MS Paint of course. |

For spriting, I use GIMP for fusing and Paintbrush (normal Paint for Macs) for everything else.

Paint.NET for spriting (If I get back into it), and Flipnote Studio for hand drawings and animations (Well, it's a DSiWare app instead of a computer program, but still).

I use Photoshop for graphics. And occasionally GIMP, because it seems to be better for some other things.
And of course MSPaint. |

I just recently downloaded Paint.NET, so now I'm just playing around with the tools and all.
It looks great. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. |
