Default January Rainbow Tourney

This month we're going to try something completely different with a rainbow tourny. This tourny will be the same way as Ditto's there will be no date and all battles will be in a given time frame, which depends on how many people show up. If the battle does not go on in the given time, then contact me and give me the reason why. I will also dicide who will move on.

Games will be played on DS through Diamond, peal, platinum, Heart Gold and Soul Silver

GIMMICK: All pokemon have to be sent out in a specific order of there color, height or weight.

Rainbow Order
Red / pink
Brown
Yellow / White
Green
Blue
purple / Black

Refrence for all pokemon color can be referred to here;
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...kemon_by_color

Refrence for height;
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...ight_in_meters

Refrence for Weight
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...t_in_kilograms

For height it can go from either shortest to tallest or vice versa.
Same applies if you're doing this with weight.

This sounds kinda cool. So if you had Clefable, Dugtrio, Pikachu, Leafeon, Gyarados, and Muk, you would be forced to lead with the Clefable and go in that order?

Yes, Ala but I don't understand why pikachu would be a good idea.

It was just hypothetical, but thanks for answering the question.

I don't think I will join this because I won't probably switch by mess.

You just have to send out your pokemon from shortest to tallest or lightest to heavest and can also be done vice versa.

You get a choice of how you want to do it, right? Either in order of color, in order of weight, or in order of height?

Yes, because I have a strong doubt people have enough pokemon of different colors ready to participate.

Still feel free to use it in color order.

This seems interesting. It will definitely be a change from all the other tourneys I've done that use the official rules for tournaments.

The following is just an illustrative example: Does that mean I cannot switch out my Charmander and get my Horsea in against an opposing Mudkip?
Can you please explain this?

Yes switching is not allowed under any conditions.

If you strongly desire to switch out then you must switch to the next pokemon you have planned. If the rest of you pokemon faint you will have to forfeit because the pokemon you switched out from is "dead".
