Default How to tell if you have a hacked pokemon.

Hacked pokemon are becoming a major problem. So you can tell if a pokemon you have is hack, I have some ways to tell.

1. The ID of the pokemon is 00001 or 00000

2. It knows moves it normally it can't learn ex. Blastoise knowing energy ball

3. If you have a shiny starter, it should only be in a pokeball, not in a great ball, dive ball or a master ball.

4. Found in an invalid or a Route that isn't it's habitat (or not roaming)

5. Met at a level that you can't meet a pokemon at

Hope these are helpful

Or you could use this... http://www.*********.org/ It is a legit checker. This will solve all your problems. My work here is done.

There are 2 ways a pokemon can be obtained through Action Replay. It is ******* and the Pokemon Modifier code

With *******, you can edit everything of the pokemon to what it is, to what its stats. This way is how to hack pokemon with edited stats.

With the Pokemon Modifier code, your cheating to get your pokemon. Using the Pokemon Platinum version of the code, input the pokedex #, level, and nature # into the calculator, walk in the grass and get/battle that pokemon. But here's the problem.

I can input a pokemon with a level and walk in the grass in where it is not usually found.

I can input a pokemon with the same level and find it in the same grass where it's usually found.

Can the game tell if there is a difference from a normally obtained pokemon and a cheated pokemon even though its stats and summary is exactly the same as the legit?

Err, these were facts that mostly everyone knows already. It's like saying "Your cheeseburger is bad if it has a bug on it".

True, except not everyone knows Pokémon that plays it

There are also ways to make cheated Pokemon appear legit, although it is pretty tricky and complex.

It is legitimately possible to have an ID number of 00001.
Also, I'm not sure about the other generations, but in Gen V, it is possible to have an ID of 00000.

It actually is pretty easy to do.

********* uses zero external devices, does not modify your game, save, or Pokemon. I highly recommend it, and it will save the competitive battlers a lot of time (and humiliating losses!)

It's easy to fool someone with *******. However, I'll save that argument for another thread. Most of these things are common knowledge, but still useful nevertheless.

Well when i do rng abuse i use *********.org to see my ID and SID so i know that without having to use a cheat to find it. (I did it for mostly for my emerald as i didnt have a shiny to see it SID but ********* helped alot) But if you see me use a shiny its most likely i did RNG abuse but not always, but for woundercard pokemon i will use RNG abuse on those. (for those that find RNG abuse a bad thing, i wont use these pokemon on VR unless its just for fun battles)

A heads up for *********. Make sure you set your default mode to private so that the pokemon you add there aren't publicly displayed. ********* pokemon profiles contain all the information that is unique to your pokemon and anyone with access to that data could use hacktools in their own games to create an exact replica of your pokemon.
