Default RUMOR: HeartGold/SoulSilver release date for Europe

Play.com has reported that the release date for HeartGold and SoulSilver in Europe will be March 26th, 2010. This is 12 days after the US release. Again, this date has not been confirmed.

Nice to see that the non-U.S. regions (e.g. Korea and Europe) aren't getting screwed with this time around.

I hope so
It sounds right - All Ninty games are released on Fridays here. Though it doesn't really matter to me, since I'll most likely import the US version. I did with Diamond
That does mean that I'll have to use US dates for Wi-Fi mystery gifts though. Not a huge problem

You can't wait the less than two weeks?

Sounds like Platinum: US, UK, and Australia all received it in a month's time.

I am glad the release dates are close. Now the regions other than US wouldn't have to wait for so long to get the games.

This sounds awesome . But personally I am not going to hold my breath on this, though it would be epic to get it so soon after ^^.

Also, having the Game Corner is a plus too.

Yes it is. Why the heck take it out of European versions!? -_-" Some law in one country probably says something against it. I've been playing the Japanese Game Corner - all I've got is that after a while a Smeargle goes nuts and gives you a bigger chance of getting 777. I don't get it :/

Lotsa good stuff happening for Q1 games in Nintendo. I'm worried about conserving money between HGSS, the DSi LL, and Other M. And now Europe gets something in a matter of two weeks of waiting.

The Official Nintendo Magazine here in the UK has announced that it will be released on 26th March, which is the rumoured release date. More information here: http://www.officialnintendomagazine....e.php?id=14483

I can't believe that they actually translated the game and they are still keeping the game away from us!

Also, Serebii confirmed that date and I am glad I don't live in Europe otherwise I would have waited for such a long time.

It's so that we don't feel so left out. I don't like waiting months for games that I know are already translated in my language.

Hey! The Spirit of Time! Wanna come to the UK on a permanent vacation? You'll get all the games late and there's nothing you can do about it!

Serebii stated that the Official Nintendo Magazine in the UK confirmed the release date of the European HG/SS to be March 26th, 2010. However, Serebii also stated that this date has yet to be released in a Press Release, so it may change at any time.

Yeah, I know that feels bad, and I wonder why they do that when they're both in the same language. I am certain taking out the Game Corner wouldn't take them so long.
Let's hope they'll start releasing European games very close to the release date of the American games.

It's not just English, they have to translate it in to French, German, Spanish, Italian - Basically every language in Europe.

Oh, but then they could just release it in the UK and the other English-speaking European countries, instead of delaying the whole region?

No. Because then other countries would feel left out. And all PAL region games are released at the same time (Except Australia. I think.)
