Important News Notice: Plagiarism
In an attempt to improve the integrity of Floatzel.Net and Victory Road, all news articles now require citation. Anyone not citing their sources may lose moderative powers; if you don't have moderative powers, you may be banned.
Plagiarism is a serious offense and I am treating it as such. We don't want any other Pokémon sites hating on us. (This is just a precaution for if it does happen.) |

I think this rule is a little ironic because Serebii actually refuses to reveal there sources even though they're always accurate.

Isn't that because most of Serebii's news are leaks? I don't expect them to cite those.
At any rate, this is probably a good idea. But how are non-mods going to be able to violate this, seeing as they can't post in the news forum? |

Yeah, but we're not Serebii. I would like to see everything cited because it makes us look more respectable.

Good idea, Cat. I would hate if someone plagiarized Mekahz, so I always cite.

Good idea. I never posted pokenews before so I never violated this rule.
 Anyway, I will keep an eye on everyone who doesn't follow this rule. |

Citing is critical when it comes to posting news, so I think this is a good decision.
