Thanks again! Although I wasn't battling over the past half a year, I was training during some of the time between other games. I now have like 20 or 30 usable pokémon to battle with, including three differently trained event Mew as well as like six extra Mew still undergoing training. I just really, really like Mew. I downloaded my own and traded stuff for others both from friends and the GTS.
Competitively, just since I started the Gym League here. My first battle was in November against the first gym, but I took a break to delve into other interests until about a week and a half ago.
I had very few distractions so I could battle the next Leader the next day, and I have a lot of pokémon categorized as Under, Rarely, or even Never Used, so the unpredictability made it harder for the Leaders to counter effectively.
