I wouldn't say people have lost interest in Pokemon (especially seeing as it has or is about to pass Mario in overall franchise sales). You might've lost interest, but there are still millions of fans worldwide.
16:54:50 Alakazamaster Tomato > Potato
16:55:07 SK Those aren't even in the same class
16:55:08 piexing What do the two have to do with each other? :s
16:55:12 SK Tomato is fruit
16:55:16 SK Potato is vegetable
16:55:28 Alakazamaster So?
16:55:31 SK Potatoes aren't even round
16:55:32 Alakazamaster They sound the same.
16:56:05 SK o.O
16:56:27 SK Corn and tacos are not the same, therefore, neither are tomatoes and potatoes
16:56:39 Alakazamaster Where does THAT logic come from?
16:56:45 piexing "Potatoes aren't even round" is a great argument.
16:56:46 Alakazamaster Corn and tacos don't even sound the same!

Music Theory focuses on just about everything musical, from understanding triads, scales, key and time signatures, to composition, analysis, and understanding of ensemble music itself. Music Theory requires both sides of the brain to be strong. That is, it tests one's ear for musics, as well as their knowledge and study of fundamentals.
Statistics is, at its core, the most basic form of itself. It focuses on probability, randomness, prediction of the future based on past, making raw data into models and graphs, and most importantly, application. Statistics is your story problems from Elementary school on CRACK. While it introduces new concepts, Introductory Statistics rarely uses math that's any more complicated than Algebra II.

Hmm well first things first is to take a peek in alll the options on the task bar and see what they do, play around with some of your images and such so you can get a general idea at what you have at your disposal in Gimp. Then try something simple... like.... a simple avatar or something perhaps. Just size it up, make a solid bg color then take other similar colred brushes and go crazy I guess and mes around with an image or two on it. That's just kinda how I learned to use it, lots of experimentation and a few tuts here and there for things I knew I wanted to do but needed guidance. If you have any questions I can try to answer them of course, I know gimp seems intimidating but I know you'd love it if you learn how to use some of the basics. :>
Haha I downloaded that Paint.net and I think it's too complicated for me how funny. Well if I can learn how to use Gimp then so can you! I've kinda been using it for several years for other sites that I used to be on a longgg time ago but I had stopped for a bit, however I'm just now starting to really get those lost skills back sorta-ish.
I use GIMP 2.0 which is free and if used properly it can be almost as good or pretty much just as good as Photoshop really. There are lots of plugins, brushes, and other things you can download for it too. I'm not the best but trust me, it has great potential and it's fairly easy to use once you get the basics down and such.
