My dad, being the old coot he is, buys newspapers every morning. We've tried getting him to just read the news on our desktop computer, but his excuse is always "But you can't get the news on that computer, not like how newspapers can." He's so stuck in his old ways. I understand that it's difficult to teach older adults (in their 50s, 60s, etc.) about the available technology these days, but still, it's ridiculous that he refuses to just read online articles and prefers to waste dollars everyday on newspapers that clutter our house.

Me and my dad are big eavesdroppers. We try to be nosy about everything when we're out, be it a restaurant, the store, anywhere really.
It's funny when you listen to some of the stuff people discuss in public. But apparently my step-mom doesn't like it. .o. |

My mom- Likes to yell at idiotic drivers and throws some pretty hurtful insults at people who can't hear her.
My aunt- Obsesses over trying to get me a girlfriend, even though I don't really want one. She also has to buy every single iProduct and Kindle. My grandmother- Does random hilarious things all the time, including this weird chant whenever someone does something good. "GOOD JOB, GOOD JOB! GOOD JOB, GOOD JOB! G-O-O-D J-O-B. GOOD JOB, GOOD JOB!" with a clap on each syllable. |
