"By the way," Chris said, "Why would you need the guy the you shot? We know what happened." Suddenly, he became distracted. "Oh, hang on..." He walked towards a silver BMW parked a few spaces over that looked like it had been in a small crash (and in truth it had). He opened the driver's side door, reached behind the seat, and grabbed a laptop bag. He closed the door. Walking back over, he said, "I think I may have just found how they found us here."

Silver looked the laptop over. "GPS, eh? Cool. Imma play League of Legends on this....oh, the survivor? If we leave him here,he'll tell the cops lies about us. If we take him, he might be able to tell us more about whoever you're running from. "

"We know pretty well who we're running from," Chris said, "And about the survivor..." He pulled out his gun with one hand and shot the guy, completely without warning. "Can't lie to the cops anymore. Anyways, we should get going." He got in the passenger side of Silver's Wrangler, and got his laptop out of the bag.

"Okay."
Silver had been driving down a twisted network of side streets and alleys. "Even though your girlfriend keeps cutting evil eyes at me, I'm going to let you guys hideout at my safe house. But I'm not going to risk my life for nothing. I'm only 18. Hell, I ain't even lost my virginity yet. Ssh. Don't tell anyone. Where was I? Oh yeah. Why gangsters shooting at you?" |

"I'm assuming that they took it back last night, the first time they caught us," Chris said. He then went to answer Silver. "We both hated doing what we were assigned to, and when we were trusted with the 250 grand we figured we may as well take it and run. I just forgot that Amber here isn't used to being directly in combat."

"Honestly, I'd like to be back on the road to some point soon," Chris said, "If way stay in one place for too long then it only gets worse. Besides, if we get going again soon we might be able to make South Carolina by dinnertime."

"I'm sure that would be extremely civil and accommodating. You seem problematic and out for yourself, but in the midst of that you seem benevolent." Amber looked at Silver curiously wondering if she was right.

"It's not so bad. Really it's not." Silver lead the pair thru about three traps, then stopped. "Okay, there's no more. Help yourself to the shower, the TV, the fridge. "Oh, and this computer has Internet access. Don't mind the Homepage, it's just this site called Victory Road."
*blank stare* "You know, like in Pokemon?" "O.o" "Not that I like Pokemon, I mean I DID complete the Sinnoh PokeDex, which is cool because..." "o.O" "Umm...okay then just go to Google. Forget everything I said. I'm gonna be in the kitchen making food." |

Chris decided to instead use his computer; he managed to get the wireless password for Silver's Internet, and proceeded to open a web browser and went to Google Maps.
"Amber, come over here," he said, "I figured out a route yesterday." |

"That's the idea. Stay moving and they won't be able to interfere so easily." He zoomed in around New York. "As for the border... being Niagara Falls and all, there's lots of tourist stuff, so it's rather confusing to figure out where the bridge is. I've been there before, I know firsthand."

"We can figure it out when we get there. Anyways, you can go have your shower now." He closed the laptop, and went over to the couch to take a nap. It was nice to be somewhere where they could stay without getting attacked. Of course, he knew they shouldn't stay too long, but they may as well make their visit worthwhile.

Chris woke up. He checked the time on his phone, and sighed, noticing that he had only slept for a few minutes. He got up and went over to his laptop to entertain himself, as there wasn't anything productive that could be done at that point.

Just then, Chris noticed a silver Porsche pull up in front of the door. "Speak of the devil, it seems we have just been found. God damn it." Then, a girl who looked slightly older than Chris stepped out, and Chris came to a realization. "Hang on, I know her..."

Silver yawned. "I know you um...might not need the food, or whatever, but if you need her, you might want to somehow warn her that she's about to get her brains blown all over the sidewalk, my Jeep, and that fancy-ass sports car she has."

"****, I forgot!" Chris managed to get her attention just before she set off one of the traps. "Don't step on the sidewalk!" She looked confused. "It's hard to explain," Chris said. He then replied to Amber. "This is Jess; ex-girlfriend."
"...Anyways, you called?" "Actually, no... I didn't." "Well, I heard you were in danger. We've got connections. And considering we're still on good terms, I figured I may as well help." She looked back down the alleyway nervously. "The mob was on my ass back down the road though, I just hope they haven't followed me..." Last edited by NismoZ; March 17, 2012 at 07:20:43 PM. |

Silver cursed. "****ING HELL. NOW I HAVE TO KILL.MORE STUPID PEOPLE. RRG. GET YOUR STUPID ASS IN THE WINDO-NO, USE THE GRASS, NOT THE SIDEWALK!"
"Dammit Chris, your and your STUPID girlfriend! Amber's nice, SHE doesn't GIVE MY LOCATION AWAY..." He was in a rage. |

Silver interrupted. "Ir-****ing-relevant. Right now it's shooting time. The traps will take care of most, but we'll need to mop up the rest."
He flipped a switch, and a mounted .50 caliber appeared next to one window, and he pointed oout two closets. "Heavy arms, long guns, launchers in that one, SMGs and handguns there. Get ready. I'll man the 50 cal." |

"AAAAAAY sniper rifle. Heh. Heh Heh. Well of course, brb."
Silver ran down a hallway and rummaged around in a room for a bit before returning with three A7's and one PSG, along with a Dragonuv and a SSG-89. He almost fell 4 times. "Eerr..h-help me with these please Chris...", feeling embarrassed. |

"I only needed one..." Chris grabbed a random sniper rifle from Silver's arms, and walked out the door, making sure to avoid the traps the same way as they had come in. "I'll call out if I need help," he said, as he ran off.
About a minute later, you hear Chris's voice. "Guys, need a little help he--" His voice was cut off, and you hear the distant sound of the rifle clattering to the ground. |

When Amber got to Chris, it was definitely a... surprising sight. All of the mob had gone, leaving Chris leaning against a wall, unconscious. There was a patch of blood just above him where his head had hit the wall. The rifle was on the ground next to him, its scope shattered.

Silver sighed when Amber climbed up the stairs with Chris.
"Just HAAAD to leave the nigh-impenetrable fortress, Chris...Jesus. I've got a k.o'd guy and two girls. Fight hasn't even started yet, I'm feeling like quitting. Mumble grumble ****..." "Set him down over there, it looks like he has a concussion. His clothes are bugged, which is why they left him alive. They want you and me, too. Search him, the bugs are there; I know. Call Jess up here, tell her to help me shoot while you do that." |

"Right. We'll hit maybe Upper South Carolina before it gets dark if we leave now. When we stop at a hotel, there should be a first aid kit or something." Amber started to dab Chris with the towel to clean his blood. Amber needed a way to get Chris down to the car though. "A little help."

"Don't say you're going to die." Amber loosened her grip but brought her hands around his neck. She was already concerned Chris was going to die when she had seen the aftermath of his fight with the mafia. "It's scary enough seeing you injured like that. Don't say you're going to die."
