Or how about the pair of criminals that knocked themselves out, trying to break into a bank/Jewerly store (not sure which one) the first one threw a brick which bounced off and knocked him out. His acomplise tryed his luck, throwing the brick and obtaining the same results (Y would he do that seeing the results on his friend. This would have to be the easiest arrest for the police

No, they do not need to get smarter. If they did, more people would get robbed/killed. And nobody really wants that to happen to them.

i have found anouther one....
This guy breaks into a mini mart, only takes beer and chewing tobaco. This store had a full cash registure and a fine wine section He then takes his goods across the street to watch the cops, he is drinking and chewing. When the cops see him he anounces that he was going to break into the house that was not his that he was sitting infront of. He's a smart one |

Re: Stupid Criminals
Here is anouther one:
Stupid Case File for December 2, 2007 Be Care of Who You Flag Down For Assistance ... Courtesy of Star Tribune A man driving a stolen car that went into a ditch flagged down the wrong person for help. Dean Gangl, 40, of Richmond, Minn., unwittingly asked an off-duty sheriff's deputy to help him pull the vehicle out of a ditch along Benton County Road 4 west of Foley, Minn., Sheriff Brad Bennett said. The deputy, who came upon the stranded motorist at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday while he was on his way home, noticed that the vehicle in the ditch matched the description of one reported stolen hours earlier in St. Cloud. The deputy radioed to dispatchers, who confirmed the man was driving a stolen car, Bennett said. The deputy arrested Gangl and found that he was in possession of a white crystal substance. Gangl tested positive for methamphetamine, Bennett said. He was taken to the Benton County Jail and charged with being in possession of controlled substance and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Notice to Appear posted by Agent McKay on Sunday, December 02, 2007 |

Re: Stupid Criminals
Here we go again:
Stupid Case File for December 3, 2007 Ex-con allegedly targets cops for robbery Courtesy of UPI NEW YORK, - An ex-con allegedly tried to rob two people in New York, police said, but didn't notice his intended victims were police officers -- in uniform. Police said 33-year-old Jermaine Washington allegedly was so intent on robbing someone Saturday that he pulled a fake handgun on the two armed police officers as they walked through Riverside Park, The New York Daily News said. "It was stupid criminal tricks," a police source said. "The guy didn't even look to see who was coming." After Washington allegedly pulled his fake gun, the two officers drew their real weapons and Washington surrendered after a short but tense standoff. |

Re: Stupid Criminals
I just overheard two good ones.
A guy robbed a liquor store. He got into the store by going in through the sky-light. However, once he got in, he couldn't get back out because he couldn't climb back up and out. A women gets her purse stolen by a man. She finds her purse and she finds the man's cell phone inside her purse (which has pictures of him on it). |

Re: Stupid Criminals
Look Trouble at the border
U.S. Border Agent Car Not a Good Getaway Car Courtesy of MONTERREY, Mexico - Three Mexican minors detained in California on suspicion of smuggling drugs stole a U.S. Border Patrol car while still wearing handcuffs and drove it back across the border to Mexico. Police in the Mexican border city of Mexicali said on Tuesday the three boys had been driving a pick-up truck on a remote Californian highway when a Border Patrol agent stopped them. Suspicious they were carrying marijuana, he handcuffed them and put them in his patrol car while he searched their truck. "As the agent was doing his search, he left the vehicle running and the keys in the ignition, so one of the lads, still wearing handcuffs, grabbed the steering wheel and they headed back to Mexico," a police spokesman said. The Border Patrol, which plays cat and mouse around the clock with illegal Mexican migrants and drug traffickers, confirmed the vehicle was stolen in southern California on Sunday and driven over the border near Mexicali. Mexican police used a helicopter to locate the patrol vehicle in a remote agricultural area near the border |

Re: Stupid Criminals
got a new one that i have not seen in a while:
Kentucky: Two men tried to pull the front off a cash machine by running a chain from the machine to the bumper of their pickup truck. Instead of pulling the front panel off the machine, though, they pulled the bumper off their truck. Scared, they left the scene and drove home. With the chain still attached to the machine. With their bumper still attached to the chain. With their vehicle's license plate still attached to the bumper. |

Re: Stupid Criminals
Watch were you go.
Clark advises that you don't follow the lead of the fellow in Anaheim, Cal., who tried to hold up a bank that was no longer in business and had no money. On the other hand, you don't want to be too familiar with the bank. A California robber ran into his mother while making his getaway. She turned him in. |

Re: Stupid Criminals
This didn't get anything new recently, so I'll post what I just heard.
A guy broke into someone elses house and stole his stuff (including his cell phone). The guy (who had his house broken into) sent a text messgae to his stolen phone saying "The party is at *address here* and the sex and drugs are free". The criminal shows up at the place, where the police are waiting for him and arrest him. |

Re: Stupid Criminals
This one's a joke, but about a stupid criminal nonetheless.
An obviously inebriated guy walks into a store and asks for some mouthwash. The clerk denies it, due to the fact that he has a drunken voice and gait, and also due to alcohol being a key ingredient in mouthwash. The drunk says that, one, he had a date in 5 minutes and forgot to freshen up, and two, that he has cerebral palsy, and it affects his speech and motion. The clerk hands him a bottle of mouthwash, feeling sympathetic. And the buyer asks... ...if the clerk had a refrigerated one. |
