For first sprites, they're very good. (Better than my first sprites, although I bit off a bit more than I could chew back then) I recommend going a bit further for your next sprites and try splicing.
And, despite my lack of activity on here, I was one of the most active spriters on the forum, and I'll probably do some more work during the coming summer. You can ask me for advice as well. Last edited by Idno58; March 14, 2012 at 04:12:05 PM. |

Have you heard of GraphicsGale Free Edition? (There is a paid version, but the free edition has everything you could ever want for spriting) I use it for things like my animated characters (NOT animated recolours!) and custom sprites. I'm not sure how well it'd fair with doing fusions and such, but it'd be better than using paint.net.
Also, if you have a Linux computer, there is a program on linux called KolourPaint. Kolourpaint is like MS paint, but better because it also supports transparency, and has more zoom tools than MS paint. Last edited by SilverX; March 14, 2012 at 05:56:43 PM. |
