That is definitely an interesting reference. Victini is effectively the Hiroshima Bomb. This is a little bit on the disturbing side, but then again, there was that Nintendo game 1942. In it, you were an American fighter pilot shooting down Japanese aircraft during World War II.

I just remembered. In the third season of Digimon there was a Digimon similar to Victini, in the sense that it gave ultimate power to the Digimon around it. It was called Calumon. However, It didn't have any relation to Nuclear activity, unlike Guilmon, who had the radioactive Symbol smack-dab on his belly.
