My computer (Windows 7) has random difficulty on start up. Sometimes its black, and won't display anything, today it displayed, but wouldn't run anything. It always clears up if given a period of, say, 10 minutes. What do you think is wrong with it?

Because Windows has the same durability and reliability as an Alfa Romero.
Hrm... o.o; Either Desukan or Gardevoir. Both Golden Sun games. n.n Carnivine. It could have been so much cooler. ;3; I have four jobs. >__>; I work during the daytime as a Paperstacker and Ad Inserter for various newspapers in Colorado, I work weekends as a human directional for Media Nation, I work odd days/nights for Argus Event Staff & Security, and I am a Specialist Guide for ChaCha!. Three of four of those jobs give less than twenty hours a week, so I make cash on the side while not working too much. :3 Honestly, like any game nerd, I want to be a paid game Moderator. :3 |

I have a double-answer for the second one. I adore Orre for it's total barren desert-esque and post-apocalyptic feel, the sense of hopelessness while traversing it's harsh terrain, and the distance between cities... But I also love Johto for Ecruteak. It's my favorite city. n.n That, and it's close proximity to Goldenrod, and the newly-established Pokéathalon Dome. An Aggron, fo'sho. o3o I mean, who wouldn't want to be a steel-plated titan with a spiked helmet? Nobodys, thats whos. Last edited by .name//Technomancer; August 21, 2010 at 03:00:11 PM. That's an interesting one, and I will be happy to answer it for you. :3 I love flaunting my way over-powered RP class.
[NOTE: This is directly ripped from my .rtf profile for RPing purposes. It uses no pre-determined template, and all of it has been gradual gain, not sudden surge. Enjoy, ye fans of textual RP. Also, I'm going to forgo waiting for someone to ask, so I will explain all classes, and their origins.] Penta-Dual Class: Accepted [A Penta-Dual class is just what it sounds like, if you're familiar with Double-classing. Penta, as in five classes, giving me the ability to equip/select five separate classes to study. The Dual-suffix denotes the ability to use dual-classes inside of the Penta-classing, essentially giving me ten classes at my disposal. Dual classing combines two classes into a single powerful class, thus Penta-Dual classing. n.n Neat.] Master Class [Sub-Master]: HyperGoth [Witch, Metalhead] [As per RP Class etiquette, one is able to derive his or her Master Class from custom classes, considering they're accepted under specific RPing guidelines. HyperGoth is a term I coined from my own manner of dress. Thing Hypercar, Hypercomputer, Hyperdrive, ect. It's the suffix' accelerated version, often much more advanced than normal. Most people see Goths as depressed, anti-social, and boring, but I'm the exact opposite. I'm a Goth with a sunny disposition, and I dress waaaaaaaaaaaay crazier than most goths [see intro pic/Post Your Pics threads], so the term HyperGoth was born. The Witch class existed on the forum I already belong to, but I made an appeal to change specific parts about it, since nobody on the forum was an actual Witch, like I am. o3o A Witch has more Magic prowess, quicker casting speed, and their senses are much closer to Nature than other classes, but it comes at a price, for anyone who has ever RPed as/rolled a Mage in an MMO. They're rather squishy. o3o As in, one hit = dead. Witches have the advantage of being able to cast spells without speaking, which nullifies silencing spells/effects from working. The Metalhead, on the other hand, I created. Metalheads are essentially defensive characters, raising my Defense to incredible heights, with an added bonus of a good-to-high Attack, much like an Aggron is. We're kinda fast sometimes, but only when classed with faster classes, which I am not. xD; Metalheads are much more about slamming enemies with Noise-based attacks, and are immune to attacks that are Noise-Related [Kinda like Soundproof]. You'll notice lower that I have ten classes listed. This is because of the Forum I used to frequent. The Master Classes are actually extensions of ourselves, thus they're more like Character-locked/specific classes. They don't count as "classes" in this sense, more like Character Bases. It makes characters more malleable, and thus more interesting. Like one was born a Fighting class, but studied under a Magic class to become closer to Magic, thus gaining a class. It's a difficult system to understand unless you were there so many years ago. ;.;] Minor Class [Subclasses]: [The minor classes are the "learned" class types; classes that we weren't born with. Most of them are adapted classes or character archetypes from other games/RPGs, thus some of you will recognize them.] Dark Alchemical Knight [Dark Knight, Alchemist. Both classes lifted from Final Fantasy X-2.] Technomancer [Technopath, Lich. Technopath is a class I appealed for during my hacking career, since it never existed under their character archetypes. A Technopath is the literal term for a Technomancer, I think the latter just sounds cooler. xD Technopaths have the ability to speak with and control machines, technology, and most items electronic with their minds. The Lich class was lifted from Ogre Battles.] Wasteland Ranger [RAmar, Vault Dweller. RAmar was lifted from Phantasy Star Online I&II, with the Vault Dweller coming from the Fallout Series.] Gun Wizard [Red Wizard, Gun Mage. Both of these classes were lifted from Final Fantasy; The Red Wizard coming from Final Fantasy III, and the Gun Mage from X-2.] Shining Adept [Shining Wolf Champion, Venus Psynergy Adept. These are the more obscure classes. n.n The Shining Wolf Champion was lifted from Shining Soul II. Although the literal class for it was called the Fighter, it's revealed that you're a Shining Champion. I just slipped the Wolf bit in there from selecting the Fighter-class, which is a Wolf-furry. The Venus Psynergy Adept was lifted from Golden Sun I&II.] HyperGoth class level: 614,922. Exp. to Natural level gain: 87,566,672 exp. [These levels are calculated by considering every single level-up you personally have gotten in any RPG using a Level system. To be legitimate, you have to have saved for the level to calculate it. It's on an honor system. My level shown was not considering levels accrued in Pokémon, Monster Rancher, Fire Emblem, Ogre Battles, or like games wherein the player controls characters through another character. On the forum I come from, levels gained through these means can be dumped into a pet/party member. I usually dump them into Metal Wave, my IROC. o3o Metal Wave is my Twisted Metal comp vehicle, an '87 IROC-Z with insane powers. Her level is nearly three times mine. ._.; I'd post my entire profile, but I've been overhauling it for a few weeks, implementing gained levels and correcting typing errors, so it's only half edited to completion. :3] tl;dr: much higher than yours, and i have 10 classes lol Last edited by .name//Technomancer; September 24, 2010 at 02:17:20 PM. |

If I were to get you mad enough, would you hack my computer to change all my windows sounds to Mudkip Insane Edition, replace all my bookmarks with Caramelldansen, and replace all my MP3 files with a mongoose going NEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGH?

For most practical applications, Desktop. For lulz on the go, Droid... So erm... o.o;

If I had to though... I would actually fool your machine to think that all actions, including mouse movements, keystrokes, and idling, are basis for signals, and change all signals to full blast on your internal speaker within your tower.... >.> THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN I would replace all the .avi and .mp3 files with a random assortment of completely annoying sounds. More like Badger, Narwhals, and Crabs.... >.> And every keystoke would initiate a Good Charlotte/30 Seconds to Mars/OTher gay music song, thus flooding your soundcard with HUNDREDS of songs a minute, depending on how many keystrokes you do... Which would either melt your sound card, clog your processor up, or simply annoy you until you commit an hero. :D |
