I love how the best names IMO, Wellspring Cave & Twist Mountain, both have extremely bland Japanese names. I think most of the cities sound kinda weird, though...

Well, the names in Japanese are too long and don't sound appropriate. This makes the English names more sensible and appealing.

This batch of new names has got to be one of the best so far. As Spirit said, "Wellspring Cave" sounds so much better than "The Opening of an Underground Water Vein", and the same goes to "Dreamyard" as compared to "Abandoned Lot of Dreams".

The only one I don't like is Opelucid City. It just sounds wrong in someway... I like Twist Mountain and all the others though

All of them sound pretty good to me except Lostlorn Forest, Illusion Forest sounded 10 time better.

The Opening of an Underground Water Vein is perhaps the stupidest name in existence, since it is less than a name and more of a description. Thank heavens that was changed! The names of the towns and route seem a-ok to me, and I am pleased that nothing turned out badly.

In case no one has noticed, most of the towns in this game are named after types of clouds.

I think I saw people saying that from before. The fact that they use clouds to create such names is creative and clever, but sadly, clouds don't interest me.

Something about these names made me think about the sky. I see where you are coming from. Mistralon Cave, City.

Serebii and PokéBeach already mentioned that. It's actually really obvious when you see names such as Nimbasa City, Icirrus City, etc.
