Default Screncast tutorials

I had a though since i enjoy helping people well most of the time and blueheat would like to learn flash i think i will make some video screen cast tutorials

What Topics Should i do Besides:


Basic Tools poly star, Lines, MoveClips,

Tweens differences and uses

Moving Backdrop aka. inbeding video loops

Image Masking

Variables "Hello World", Hit test and uses




Anything i should add

Might Start this in next couple of weeks

What I have Been Working on Below(just added lvls)

I cant do first person shooter because that would require extensive programing in java however i could show how to create a side scroller shooter, shotting gallery, and adventure

Ok i have started with the screen casts here is the planed tutorials in order
will not be live but will post on this forum
ok if you see a * that means i am done with that part but i will releases chapters together
Chapter 1

*Navigation And Tool bars (tips and tricks)

*Basic Button animation and Coding

*Motion Backgrounds(running a video behind game, menu, etc.)

*Tweens (making stuff move/transform)


Chapter 2


Variables how they work and uses(creating a score box)


Making Objects move (x y axis movement from actionscript)


Applying To A Game Catch the Clown(hit the moving target FTW)


Applying To A Game Side Scrolling Shooter


Schedule (maybe revised)
Ch1 NOV 18
Ch2 NOV 23

Revised Dates:
Ch1 Nov 24
Ch2 Dec

Addition Chapters maybe later
