That's pretty cool. It definitely looked like the Centers were supposed to look that way, but maybe not the towns. The only reason I say that is that you can see the next route. I don't think that's what they had in mind for the grand scheme of things. I wonder what the Goldenrod Gym would look like with that... *hint hint*

This obviously proves that HGSS is fully 3-D, as in every point in 3-D space is mapped. Because of this, you can not only do this, but I'm assuming rotate the camera with a different cheat. Thanks a bunch, now I might actually get an AR (anyone know if HGSS is being successfully emulated?)!
Edit: I'm going to sticky this because I really think this is impressive. Last edited by FreezeWarp; May 6, 2010 at 12:49:27 PM. |

Well, HGSS has already been proven to be a full 3-D game. The problem is, there's only about four or five parts of the game where the camera isn't isotropically fixed, and is instead angled the way these codes cause the angle to appear.
I believe that Black and White aren't neccasarily the first to be fully rendered in 3-D, just a 3-D Pokemon game with full camera angles. |

Now if only that annoying black void would go away. |

I'm going to be writing a sort-of guide on this for CI. So, uh, if you're interested, I'll be posting the link soon. |

And while I'm still here, might I mention the Flying Glitch? If you fly somewhere with the hack on, then you appear above the object you usually appear in front of. |

^Yeah also, when landing from flying you appear above the door of Pokemon Center.
HGSS was going to be in full 3D probably but they ditched the idea. That's why there are many bugs. Last edited by TheRagingTyranitar; May 20, 2010 at 02:51:19 PM. |

Yeah, I mean, have you seen the E4 Building with the cheat on? It looks amazing! But I guess they didn't have enough time to input it into the coding to release it fast enough. Maybe that's why the Black Void is so common.

I tried this out. It looks awesome, but when walking up and down you move really slow, and you also can't tell whether you're in grass or not. It's obvious that this wasn't intended to happen in the overworld, but in buildings it does look awesome. And this isn't what the whole of Black and White will be like, only parts of it. Look at this picture:
