Well my school has 10 shops and the maximum amount is 20, so we take in 200 students per grade, not that it matter because a lot of people can't there grades up and get kicked out but I guess I'll say about 350 we also take in Student from 23 different towns in North East, Conneticut.
Even though today seven of those towns had to go to school today and because my school's town had school today there was about eight people in each my classes and ironicly my English class was my biggest because we got out early today and I didn't have Math. While we were waiting for the school bus to come I had health but the Gym/Health teacher didn't bring a movie saying that we didn't have enough students, but there are 13 students in our class and only four went out. So I ended playing Emerald for the rest of the day because I placed my DS in my pocket and forgot to take it out the kids asked if I was playing pokemon but because I don't like the kids I just gave them a dirty look. |

You know, that actually leads to something of a paradox with Alakazam. The Pokédex entry states that it remembers all of its experiences from birth, but no Alakazam is *born* an Alakazam. So either Abra and Kadabra have some means of storing permanent memories that they can't access, or an Alakazam's perfect memory only begins from the time it evolves.

Well, Alakazam doesn't stay as an Abra too long, and Kadabra is shown to be pretty intelligent itself, so I say Alakazam DOES remember all of its memories from birth.
But this seems rather complex so lets just change the subject. |

Well I just got back from the German school around here to see if I can take Saturday classes there, and I think my speaking is just as keen as when I lived in Berlin (last year). The only unfavorable thing is the time of the classes (9 AM every Saturday, yikes. :/) Plus, as it turns out, there are three kids who take the Saturday classes that used to go to my school in Berlin! What a coincidence!

I started writing my own short story for a literature competition in our school. The winner of the first prize is 46$. It might be a small amount of money, but I find this a good opportunity for me to show my writing skills. I need to submit it on the 18th of March.
Apart from that, I have the business fair on the 17th of March where I need to prepare a formal UN resolution and a business idea. Oh! I am getting pressurized a lot! |

Oh yes, I just remembered that we watched a movie called Hotel Rwanda in Geography today. I think we're actually going to finish it tomorrow.
It actually had blood and violence at some parts as well as plenty of cussing, so I'm surprised (but happy ) they they're letting us watch it at school. Rwanda is an African country... I really don't understand the plot of the movie yet, though. Something about one social group being mad at another and trying to kill them. Maybe I should Google it. Overall, the movie is good. I think my teacher is showing it to us as an 'introduction to Africa' because what we usually do is study 1 continent at a time in that class. On a different note, Africans have really cool accents. Where do I start now? 1) Like Spirit, I'm participating in the English Literature competition as well. Many teachers know me as an exceedingly good writer, especially when it comes to poems. I'll be submitting 2 of my best poems, and I'm going to write a short story as well. I have a great idea in mind; the title of my story will be "A Midnight's Dream Murder" (yeah, I like murder stories). When I'm done with it, I'll post it here. 2) I pre-ordered Pokémon SoulSilver from a local game store here. So, I'll be getting it exactly on March 14th 3) Because of the upcoming business fair, I have started researching information to write a UN-styled resolution. It's a pretty tough job. Plus, my dad and I have finished planning my product for that day. It's gonna be kickass 4) Got the reports on Thursday. I'm please to say all my grades are straight A's and A*'s, except for two: P.E and ICT; both the teachers NEVER put A to ANY student, no matter how hard-working he is. They gave me an 88% :/ I would like to stress out the business fair. It's the bane of my life now; it requires TONS of work and dedication 0_0 |

Anyways... Today was a good day. First of all, I have no homework, and I got a 86 on my Romeo and Juliet Acts 1-3 Test. We watched some of Hotel Rwanda in 6th period, but we basically stopped in the middle of the climax. I think we'll watch the rest on Monday. |

I finished preparing my own business plan for a successful business.
I started writing the U.N resolution, finishing half of it. I will continue with it tomorrow. 2 weeks are left for the release of HG/SS, and I still didn't finish preparing... I am so under pressure hat my activity is getting down rapidly. |

I finished the first part of my UN resolution, and I'll resume my work tomorrow, too.
But, what splits me and Spirit apart is two things: 1) I had the business plan ready LONG time ago. 2) I am 96% done with my SS team. Also, March is going to be my worst month in 2010 so far. |

Well, leaving HG/SS aside, March has nothing but so much work; getting a new project for VR forums done, awful preparation for the business day, and writing a short story for the English Literature competition. Not to mention that many of my relatives are returning back to my country.

Well, good luck.
I'm going to sit around and be lazy this month as basketball has ended and Spring Break is in a couple of weeks. I also get to go to my friend's house on Friday, we'll probably just stay up all night and play video games or something. Not to mention that HG/SS comes out this month. Haha. |

I love how you put "THE DAY"
I'm also excited for Spring Break because we'll probably go to my grandparents house, which means I'll probably get to golf. They live in some neighborhood thingy for older or retired people and it has a golf course, hehe. I'll also be able to play HG a lot if I go to my grandparents house because it's a 5 hour drive to get there... So I'd play a lot of HG in the car on the way there. |

Uh-oh! O_O I hope everything is alright.
Are your houses not built to withstand continuous rain? Also, I just looked at my school calendar. We have Spring Break from March 13th to March 21st if you count weekends. I'm happy HG/SS come out on Sunday. I'm also surprised at how fast this year has gone by... There's only 3 months left in my Freshman year of high school! Oh boy I'm excited for Spring Break, even though just a few weeks ago I was out of school for a week because of snow! It was apparently the greatest snowfall the East Coast has ever seen.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pre-order Heart Gold. :/ Yes, I still have yet to do so. I'm getting it on Amazon, and I can't decide whether to get the full-blown game, or Heartgold sans Pokewalker. I'll probably get the Pokewalker, since its just an extra $5. NO! You must pre-order if you want a chance of getting it! GameStops will be packed with people who pre-ordered it, and they may not have enough to go around. I'm ordering it online because I don't mind waiting two or three days extra to get it.

Can I use a gift card on a pre-order? If not, then maybe I will wait until Wednesday.
Maybe Traget will have some spares if GameStop is out. There's a Target across the parking lot from the GameStop I go to... Very convenient, is it not? Last edited by SK; February 27, 2010 at 09:55:54 AM. |

Wow. The rainstorm Spirit talked about earlier actually turned into a thunderstorm. You could see the sky flash multiple times in a row with loud thunder aggravating things even further. The rain became exceedingly strong, and 'weak hail' hit our windows, while TVs were out for about 30 minutes. The rain has currently stopped, but it is predicted that it will fall once again, probably even stronger.
Also, a large department store got drowned, as its roofs started leaking water. Alarms ran from every corner, while terrified people threw their stuff and ran to get out. The water drowned foodstuff, electric appliances, clothes, and many other things. Needless to say, electricity was cut off. Generally speaking, people don't bother much about building 'rain-resistant' buildings, since the U.A.E barely receives any rainfall. However, there has been a lot of rain recently, so they might want to re-think about it. Last edited by Shadow; February 27, 2010 at 10:44:11 AM. |

I think its called climate change now, since more is happening than just temperatures rising. The huge snowfall on the east coast of the U.S, the rainstorm you're talking about, and perhaps even the tsunami that is supposed to hit Hawaii. I hope it isn't too serious...

Global Warming isn't true, people just get freaked out by minor changes in the climate over the years.
It SNOWED in SOUTH TEXAS last Wednesday... It also snowed 2 other times this year. So basically, it snowed 3 times in Texas this year. Global Warming, no. Last edited by SK; February 27, 2010 at 01:04:47 PM. |

Right now, they have:
- Upsets jolt college hoops (Kentucky and #1 lost) - Guidelines for tipping (I might read ) - Value of Trump's name questioned (Is David Trump really worth that much?) - USA's record medal haul (USA has a lot of medals in the Olympics, of course ) Sometimes I'll just read this stuff if I'm bored. |

Technically that is further evidence of global warming, as a result of global warming could be the shift in ocean currents, which would effectively cause coastal weather there to be quite cold (Think Pokémon 2000). Similarly, that is merely a matter of weather, while global warming is a matter of cooling. *Returns to God's side* Global Warming is very real, but I do have to believe it's just a natural cycle this planet is going through, and probably has gone through 50 times before. My family/myself doesn't either. I'm very much against organized religion - it seems like blind faith, and, unlike religion itself, is largely the reason for why people aren't accepting of other religions. I have a religion all my own, but I'm just fine with any modern/peaceful religions (Buddha!). |

It's still total bull. The scientists who warned us about it had altered the data to make it look like the earth was in danger so they could get more money out of us.
|
#387
|

That's also untrue in two different ways - although recently through a chain of released emails it was discovered that select scientists had altered data as they were collecting it, they did so for one primary reason - to warn people about what they think is very real, and not to get money. The only people who could get money from something like that (and most likely are/will) is the Liberal News Media and Lobbyists (which isn't to say there aren't things that the conservative media and lobbyists also may manipulate for cash).

Ooh haircuts are nice because you can take showers faster! You don't have to worry about having lots of wet hair! XD
EDIT: Oh haha silly me, SK's haircut post was the last one on the last page, and I just assumed it was the last post. Well, that's what happens when you assume. OH! And SK, DON'T play Crystal before HG! I started a new file in my Diamond (which I didn't save) before I got Platinum, and it detered from it. Take my advice.
