I think we have some pretty cool sights, like our bridges, amusement parks, national monuments and landmarks. Although I've lived here forever and all that's getting boring. I need something new and INTERESTING to look at.

Which country are you talking about, Turtwig? England: The Lake District is a very nice place to visit. I for one went inside Beatrix Potter's house when we went on holiday there in 2010. |

That sounds cool I like interesting views.
Canada: (Being that I'm in Tampa Bay right now, I'll compare it to things that don't happen here.) People actually sleep in Canada, not stay up and go to Walmart at all hours of the day. Oh and it's much quieter and SOOOOOOOOOO much easier to navigate. And we have to hide cigarettes at stores so children can't see them. And the temperature is mild there, not humidly, impossibly hot. AND DUDE, FREE HEALTH CARE. And no tolls where we have to pay $0.75 to go on a road. Last edited by Luxray13579; July 21, 2012 at 05:38:40 AM. |

Lebanon: It is a mountainous country, so almost the whole time, your view is covered with a series of endless mountains that are green with either cedar or pine trees. It doesn't have that huge amounts of buildings. There are many springs, rivers and waterfalls. The weather is great (rain and snow in winter, mild breezes in summer). It is a good place to relax after staying for a year here in the metropolis, Dubai.

I also thought I'd mention that gay marriage is legal all through-out Canada and has been since the 70s. Proud to be Canadian. Last edited by Luxray13579; July 21, 2012 at 01:30:55 PM. |

China: 5000 years of culture (commonly quoted number). Also invented fireworks, paper and compass. Nothing good to say about China today except how I liked urban China from high population density like frequent buses.

That adds fuel to my burning desire to visit China and/or Japan. Thanks, Spaceman. :3
The United States of America has a lot of hidden gems, in terms of tourist attractions. For example, there's Ausable Chasm, which is settled in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York. Last edited by Seiji J. Konokama; July 23, 2012 at 03:30:26 PM. |

Sweet, I love Chasms, I've got to check that out some time.
Also Lux is making this hard by mentioning most of the usual "Canada is awesome" stuff, but I'll add that we've got the second-highest amount of land to a country in the world (just behind Russia), and a relatively minimal population (equaling only a few States at most). As a result, we don't have any overcrowding, and resources are fairly plentiful. The scenery differs from province to province, but every one I've seen (8 out of 10 of them), they're all breathtakingly scenic and incredibly diverse. |

So then- England: My Favourite thing about our country? It's historical value, buildings and sights. In the city I work in, you can really feel it so to speak- lots of grey stone buildings with spires, cobbled streets with alleyways that lead into café's or antique bookstores- you can even have a quick 5-10 minute walk from the bus station to a grand hall and see King Arthur's round table, just to give a slight taste. It's really quite nice just walking about and enjoying such an atmosphere, being able to eat lunch at the cathedral grounds and idly walk around shops whilst various musicians busk for money, usually playing either acoustic guitars or violins. Oh yeah- and Pubs. Gotta love the pubs. |

You've really got my mouth watering... X3
Southeastern USA is probably the best area to travel through when you're in that Southerner state of mind. The Blue Ridge Mountains are just lovely, and there are plenty of great ridges from which you can take panoramic photos, traffic permitting. |

Um.. I've got two countries.. Or three, if you count Germany.. (I'm English and Canadian, and I live in England, AND Germany. Confused yet?)
England is the home of quite a few sports, such as football (Known as Soccer in America), Rugby, and cricket. Canada has some pretty good sweets, such as maple syrup candy.. Plus there's some pretty cool things to see, like the Rockies. Germany is full of historic places, such as Trier, home of Karl Marx, Munich, where the Munich Putsch (Or Beer Hall Putsch) happened, before WWII.. And so on.
