DQ Time: 5 days Restrictions: No OHKO, 2 chills, no Double Team, no weather moves (EX.Rain dance), no substitutions. Arena - Aquarium - An EXTREMELY large glass tank. All pokemon have to be able to be able to hold thier breath or they will stand on a little 5 in radius platform that is in the middle of the aquarium, floating. So yeah, you want to be able to swim. Damage Cap: 100 Open Ref. |

Battle Style: Single Battle, 1 Pokemon
DQ Time: 3 days Restrictions: No OHKO, no chills, no Double Team, no substitutions. Arena - Stadium in the sky. A 1 v 1 duel between flying types. There is actually no ground here. If you can't fly then you have no hope. This is a duel of the dragons. Only clouds and air separate the two challengers and there are no platforms to rest on. Stay airborne or plummet to your death. Nowhere to rest and agility is crucial. Pokemon are extra sensitive to weather effects due to being in the clouds. Constantly having to be airborne drains your stamina too. The ultimate endurance battle of the skies. Damage Cap: 100 Open Ref. |

DQ Time: 7 days Restrictions: No OHKO, no evasion boosting moves (includes Acupressure) or abilities, 1 Chill, 1 Shake-off per Pokemon Arena Type: Unsteady Arena - The arena here was, unknowingly, built on a constantly shifting plate, which means earthquakes here are a constant. Every round, there's a 10% chance that a plate will shift and cause an earthquake which will deal 5 damage to any Pokemon that is not part flying, has the ability Levitate, or uses the move Magnet Rise. All Ground type moves have a boosted power of 1.2x, but all non-flying type moves' accuracy drops by 5% from the plates shifting. Damage Cap: 100 Open Ref. |

Battle Style: Triple Battle, 5 Pokémon each
DQ Time: 6 days Restrictions: No Double Team, No OHKO, No Weather-Changing Moves, 3 Chills, 2 Shake Offs Arena Type: The Pizza - A giant pizza that has been there longer than anyone can remember. Nobody knows who baked it, but it must have gone bad eons ago... Any Pokémon stepping on it's gooey surface will have speed decreased one stage, but the heat coming off it has a 15% chance of burning flying Pokémon, so pick your poison wisely. Battle Style: Single Battle, Any of your pokemon DQ Time: 7 days Restrictions: No Evasion boosting moves, No weather moves (EX. Rain Dance), No substitutions, No OHKO moves 2Chills / Shake offs Arena Type: Nimbasa City Battle Center - Introduced in anime, it is a battle arena in which the battle is one where the first trainer to 3 points wins. The arena type changes randomly out of these stages. ~Ice Stage - Has a 10% chance of the attacker to slip while preforming to move and fall. Causing it to fail. ~Dirt Ground - The basic stage in which no pokemon types are boosted or penalized because of the stage. ~Water arena - An arena in which 6 circular floating platforms are all non- water/flying pokemon can stand on. So Water and flying types get evasion +1 ~Desert Dunes - A sand storm rages here! Giving all the advantages a normal SandStorm attack would do on a pokemon and stage. ~Dark Forest ~ This a spooky, and creepy place where bug pokemon love to crawl and dark pokemon love to haunt. Bug/Dark types get +1 defense, for having knowledge about this place. So here it is in a nutshell: -It is a battle that the trainer with the first 3 points wins -Once one pokemon faints the trainer still standing gets a point. -Once a pokemon faints. Both pokemon return and two new ones return and the winner of that round send out the next pokemon, no moves yet, then the opponent (There pokemon +moves) then finally the winners moves. -If you take a pokemon in after it has won a round. You can resend it, but it will not be healed. -Every stage is choosen randomly. Damage Cap: 100 Ref: Closed - I wish GrassPokemonFTW to Ref. If there is any questions ask. First battle, so this is gonna be interesting.
Battle Style: Single Battle, 3 pokemon each DQ time: 7 days Restrictions: No OHKO moves, no weather moves, 4 chills, 3 shake-offs. Arena Type: The Canyon: The stage is set at a Large arena above a 5 mile-wide Canyon that is a few miles deep. The arena itself is a regular pokemon arena with a pool in the center. Due to the air currents surrounding the arena, Flying type pokemon gain a speed boost of one stage. Damage Cap: 100 Ref: Open |

Battle Style: 3 Pokemon each, Rotation Battle
Disqualification Time: 7 Days Damage Cap: 100 Restrictions: No Evasion boosting moves, no Protect/Detect, no OHKO moves, 1 Chill per Pokemon, 1 Shake-Off per Pokemon Arena: Auto-Spinning Dome Here, the three Pokemon you'll be using will be on rotation. There's one main difference between this and a regular Rotation Battle - you have no control over which direction the stage changes. Thus, you have to provide moves for all three Pokemon at a time. At the beginning of each turn, the panel has a 33% chance to turn right, a 33% chance to turn left, and a 33% chance to remain as is. Note that this calculation is done for BOTH SIDES, so one side may change direction while the other side stays the same. Ref: Open (I hope the arena description isn't too confusing) ^.^; |

Battle style: Single battle, 3 pokemon each
DQ time: 7 days Damage cap: 100 Restrictions: no OHKO moves, double team, or endeavor, 2 chills, 2 shake-offs Arena: SPAAACE! The arena is set in a dome in a space station! The power in this dome is a little out-of-sorts, so any electric type moves have a 40% chance to increase the gravity for 2 turns, 40% chance to decrease the gravity for 2 turns, and 20% chance to not affect the gravity at all. If the gravity increases, flying types' evasiveness goes down by 2 stages. If the gravity decreases, evasiveness for flying types goes up by 2 stages Ref: closed (reuniclus= ref) |

Absol I challenge you to a battle!
Battle Style - Single Battle; 3 Pokemon each. Disqualification Time - 7 Days Damage Cap - 100 Restrictions - No OHKO Moves, One Chill. Arena - Windy Windmill Plains A windy plain thats filled with windmills that signal if the winds are blowing. The reason why this area is called windy plains is because the wind patterns are completely RANDOM. Winds could blow gently one minute and blow at hurricane speeds the next. Flying types have an advantage depending on the wind speeds. Ref - Open |

**THIS CHALLENGE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR ABSOL**
Single Battle, 2 Pokémon each
Resrictions: 2 Shake Offs, 1 Chill, No OHKO moves, No Double Team, No Weather-Changing moves DQ time: 6 days Damage Cap: 100 Arena: Mirrored Abyss Well, nice job, hero. You just fell off a cliff, and now you're stuck here in this abyss with another trainer. Since there's nothing else to do, you may as well battle. The fog above and around you is pretty eerie, and no weather seems to make it through to the bottom. The walls here are clean: so clean that everything is mirrored. You'd think that would work in your favor, but it seems to work backwards, and the mirrors help accuracy. They also seem to put a Pokémon's Double Team back together. Weird, huh? After testing, you've found any special moves lose 10 power from cutting through the fog, and that physical moves lose 10% accuracy from the misleading fog. You'll have to tough it out, because maybe you can be found after this is all over. Wait, how did you survive that drop? It was pretty a pretty far fall... i think i should at least try a battle XD
Single Battle, 1 Pokemon Restrictions: No chills, 2 Shake Offs, No Double Team, No Weather changing moves, No OHKO moves DQ: 5 Days Damage Cap: 100 Arena: River Plateau Ravine Well, this is pleasant, you and another trainer have fallen into a ravine with tall, flat topped rocks and a rushing river below. There might not be nothing else to except battle. You seem to only be able to use one pokemon. The plateaus are very unstable and reduce speed and accuracy. If someone tried to use Double Team it would unbalance the plateau. Weather would have horrible effects on the river itself. Truthfully, neither you nor the other trainer have any idea on how you survived the drop. Ref: Open ref Last edited by Light Arceus; March 23, 2012 at 05:20:57 PM. |

Single Battle, 2 Pokemon Restrictions: No chills, 2 Shake Offs, No Double Team, No OHKO moves DQ: 5 Days Damage Cap: 100 Arena: Island Oasis Your on an island surrounded by trees and water. The waves crash against the island every other turn. Any Pokemon that have a weakness against water type moves take 5 damage. Other Pokemon turn into water types. Water types recover 3 hp. There are Oran Berries on the trees, but they are very rare. The chance of your Pokemon finding one is like the chance of a critical hit. Ref: Open ref |

Single Battle, 2 Pokemon
Restrictions: No chills, 2 Shake Offs, No Double Team, No OHKO moves DQ: 7 Days Damage Cap: 100 Arena: Pokemon League Stadium. You are in the Pokemon League and you are fighting your way to the top. Preliminary rounds just got over, it is Stage 2 and it is a two vs. two. The arena is random for everyone, but when you walk to the trainers box you see that the battlefield is bumpy ridge ground scattered with 3 foot boulders. The can be melted and make the arena lava (-5 health to all pokemon to fire or flying type). Then it could be cooled after it is turned to lava (with a water generating move). The rocks will take 5 health from the pokemon that uses a physical attack that turn (because they move around)(No damage is done to ground typed pokemon. The rocks can be broken by using a ranged attack with a power over 80. Every attacked that is used to effect the field uses the whole one move, it cant in anyway also hurt the other pokemon.
