I've only got 3 shops open: A dojo, an antique shop, and a deli
The dojo and antique shop will probably be the most useful to me, but the deli is kinda disappointing so far. I don't know what it does besides heal your Pokemon at a price and maybe increase happiness. (If anyone knows for sure what a deli does, feel free to tell me ) I haven't seen anyone new recently though, it might be because I switched to my 3DS from my DSi. |

I have a deli, a dojo, a raffle and a salon... I'm rank 2, but that's because I've been lazy and haven't connected my Pokémon White (JPN) and Pokémon Black (NA) for them to become friends and stuff with Black 2. Oh man, can't wait for 3-way Xtransceiver!

What does the deli provide?

Edit: Just got the deli. Looks like it provides EVs and friendliness. Last edited by Cat333Pokémon; October 14, 2012 at 01:03:32 PM. |

My Join Avenue's current rank is Rank 5. I have the max amount of shops at 8. 2 Marts, 1 Barber, 1 Raffle Shop, 1 Deli, 1 Florist (ME~!), 1 Antique shop, and 1 Dojo. Most of them, except for the last few, are at Rank 2 or 3. The rest are 1.

Like Turt, I'm also Rank 5, because not only did I connect with Black and my Japanese White, but also my sister's American White too! (4-way Xtransceiver!) I have 6 people just milling around (the ones who ask you questions), and I have the maximum amount of shops! They are:
Barber - Rank 2 Deli - Rank 2 Raffle - Rank 2 Antiques - Rank 2 Raffle (Me~!) - Rank 1 Florist - Rank 2 Deli (Me~!) - Rank 2 Dojo - Rank 3 Last edited by Luxray13579; October 24, 2012 at 05:02:00 AM. |

The strangest 3 things just happened to me. For one, plenty of people visited my Join Avenue. Not just the regular 3 per day, it was like over 5 people who showed up. The second strangest thing was that when I recommended a shop to this girl, she was chain recommended to ALL of my shops, and she leveled up 2. The 3rd and MOST strange thing that happened was Clay (Yes, THE Gym Leader Clay) showed up and said word was spreading about it. Cool, my place is popular. He says something about where he wants to go, and it sounded like Raffle Shop. I direct him over to my friend's place and he's pleased, so he makes it go up by 1000 points. One. Thousand. Points. How did this happen and how can I make it happen again?

It is one of my favourite new features. I like managing the place ^_^ Oh, and someone from the DW had "Mom" as it's surprised phrase so when I run down the avenue I get someone shouting "Mom!" Last edited by RotomGuy; October 27, 2012 at 12:45:50 AM. |

I believe that Musicals and success in movies and maybe even defeating the gyms leader helps bring people in to your Avenue. I've made as many friends as I can on the Dream World so they can come to my avenue (and water my berries). I have a bunch of people saying "Qué tal?" ("What's up?" in Spanish). Which is weird, because most of my DW friends are from Japan!

I'm barely at Rank 2 right now. Man, I think I need to get myself connected to the Internet more often with GTS and random stuff...
I've noticed a lot of seemingly random stuff also does something to the visitor count. --- Update time! It's now Rank 5, and it's now partially replaced with real people from around the world! ...Though, having it mostly Japanese and Singaporean sounds a bit... locally centric? Rank 7 avenue. This is getting good.
Rank 4 stalls get a cool looking makeover. Rank 4 Marts sell seriously good stuff. Ethers, Stat Drink Bulk Packs, even Honey which I have no idea what purpose it has in Unova. And even though I haven't got it yet, I'm sure the Florist will sell some pretty good berries when it reaches a high enough level. |

I'm currently Rank 11 and gave it a (silly) nickname of Catfox St.
Raffles seem to be mostly Berry Juice, but the most annoying is getting Hard Stones at the antique shops. I have 76 of the dang things! I remember getting quite a of few of them in the Underground back in Gen 4, but never this many. Also, I love getting Heart Scales, but when you have 29, it makes you question the "extremely rare" phrase in the description. I get the feeling I'll actually be using a few of them this time around. I've won a lot of shards too. I do hope the salon and ring come in handy when trying to fix poorly raised Pokémon. Also, if you have a florist selling them, buy a Leppa Berry every day. You'll never need to worry about using your limited supply of Ethers during Pokémon League challenge runs (which are required). |

I haven't touched my Gallery/Antique since I got the first 5 Hard Stones. I've never used the Salon ever, but I use my Ring all the time. I can give my super slow Reuniclus Speed Lvl. 24's, heh. The Shop/Mart also sells Ethers if you get high enough. I don't like Ethers though, I already have around 30 Leppa's. |

Just got to Level 10 last night, and now I'm resting in my place "Twig Plaza." I'm loving all the visual upgrades to level 4 shops. Even Cheren visited my place and gave me 1000 points for looking at... a Dojo I think.

Well, after researching the Join Avenue, it seems like you need more shops than you can fit to accommodate shop-keepers from each version, too. For instance, the antique shops greatly vary between Black 2 and White 2.

This seems like the most complex new feature to me. The easiest way around that is to find out which NPC "belongs" to a certain version, as some of them are made to have come from a Black/2 or White/2. And I think one showed up twice... that or the names or just strikingly similar. Plus, there are still medals to collect even after 10, meaning deleting more shops. D: But they're starting to grow on me...

Rank 17! Also, just got a PP Max from the raffle.
I've been really emphasizing the dojo and salon lately. Getting all of the options open is very important for anyone who works with EVs and such (not to mention the cheap berries on Route 5). Also, 157 Hard Stones. |

Currently working my way to Level 10 on all shops. But EVERYONE seems to want to go to the stupid lottery thingy. "I wanna be thrilled!" "Is there anywhere where boys can get excited?" "I wanna see who's number one in ... (Because the guy I assigned to it is the ONLY actual B2/W2 player)" I told my friend how everyone loved him and he laughed. The good side is I got to see a Level 8 shop transformation, it's really grand.
Better hit up the guy in Icirrus. He doesn't pay much for those I think, but with all those ores you are SURE to rock his core. |

After gaining a few ranks in my Join Avenue, I got the chance to upgrade my Raffle shop to a Nursery. The Nursery is useful for hatching Pokemon eggs, but that's just about it. I think I'll just stick to my Flame Body Litwick for hatching eggs quickly.
I think my rank is 19 right now. I think it's cool how your shops get a different appearance every 4 ranks or so. I also saw Cat running through my Join Avenue and wanted to use my Dojo. (I see you sneaking around my Dream World house ;P) Oh and I have 98 Hard Stones, whooo! |

I think my Rank is 8, Not quite up there yet.
And yes, I get a lot of Hard Stones, too. "Pit Pat" my right eye, GIVE ME SOMETHING GOOD for once, dangit! Also, chaining up shops is a welcome concept to pull. Especially if you don't want to level up shops individually. |

There are plenty of other ways, too. There's C-Gear passer-by, Infa-Red, Wireless, Union Room, Wi-Fi Club, GTS, Random Matchup, and, as Cat said, Dream World. Now Game Freak has truly given you a reason to keep the C-Gear on at all times. Try to do as many of those as ya can, because real people give more points over the in-game people.

The only problem with the C-Gear is it really eats through the battery, so I learned an interesting trick at school. Turn it on only when at the cafeteria or while moving. The cafeteria, though, is by far the best choice. Now only if all your BW2 friends took that advice as well.

Rank 25! You get a free Stardust every level starting at level 21.
Also, the record stuff is not transferred from Black/White. I had someone asking for a person with at least 25 link trades and chose my Black game, which I know has easily done over 100 trades. Nope, no good. |

Oh hey, I got second place in the raffle and won a Rare Candy! Also, it seems like when the antique shop hits level 10, you get good stuff for at least 2/3 of your purchases. Definitely worth leveling it up, but you need multiple raffles if you want everything.
...But if you want those medals for building a lot of shops, you have to fold down a lot of shops too, so you can only have at most 7 dedicated shops, but once a place gets to level 10, it doesn't accept points anymore. |

Ohh, I just realized what causes the influx of people: higher ranks. You get more people the higher rank your Avenue is...which won't help you. |

I'm thinking about taking down my Salon for another Raffle Shop. Half of my shops are already Rank 10, so I could use something new to give points to. Also, whenever I go to the Museum shop and buy an S-rank box, I always get a Nugget or something really rare. (I got a Big Nugget from that today)

1- Sell them in bulk at the Pokemart Center. You won't get much cash, but they'll be off your hands like that. *Snap* 2- Sell them to the ore collector in Icirrus City. He'll pay a decent enough price for them, but you have to sell them one by one, and it gets annoying after like 3. And as for what causes visitors, it's a combination of various ingame causes as well as human interactions. I've only met about 4 real people in total, but I get a whole lot of daily ingame visitors from travelling. Last edited by TurtwigX; December 28, 2012 at 08:28:10 AM. |

Rank 29!
I pretty much agree that the salon can be useless if you get a lot of the berries, but I'm gonna keep it until I have at least 60 or so of each berry (currently at 57 Hondew, 46 Kelpsy, 38 Tamato, 35 Qualot, 26 Pomeg, and 12 Grepa). Lately, I've been focusing on getting shops from different games. I really need to go sell those Hard Stones (370?!), other berries (159), Casteliacones (269), Pass Orbs (82), TinyMushrooms (44), Pearls (32), Nuggets (20), Big Pearls (18), Big Mushrooms (16), and mulch (152). I wish the item maniacs would take more than one item at once. It'd take a few hours to sell all 1,032 of those items! New tip: Random Matchup battlers will visit your avenue! Another tip: expect a few CoD kids with foul language. I already found a few yelling the F word--and one yelling it in another language. |

Ancient items and flutes is Undella Town. And Mulch is Mistralton Airstrip. I think that's all of them. And THIS is what happens when you give people too much freedom, considering the past option of only allowing words selected from a list. My friend even did that with the B-word (BUT ONLY TO ME, JUST TO TORTURE ME) but he keeps his C-Gear off almost always. They should really fix that censor, it's bypassed easily. Oh God... I said Route 4... I should kill myself slowly for that mistake. I was thinking about Sandile and Darumaka too much, but you're right, I meant to say 5. If I can cover up my mistake in any way possible, there's also a dude on Route 18 who collects Rare Bones. And I KNOW it's Route 18 FO' SHO'.
