And I don't know what you've been smoking, but KH is not a FPS. |

Kingdom Hearts is a pretty good real time RPG, but it's too overrated in my opinion. Also, I hated Chain of Memories. Ick, card-driven combat.

I really don't like Halo or Call of Duty. There are already millions of first-person shooters, but who needs to be unique? |

... ... ...You're kidding, right? Sin and Punishment is one of the best rail shooters I've ever played. It's over quickly, but the short levels have the right amount of difficulty to leave you frustrated, yet eager to get up and try again. I can't wait for SaP 2 for Wii. With point and shoot controls, it'll be that much more fun. |

CoM isn't OMGHORRIBLEGIVEITA5ONMETACRITIC; but compared to the other games in the franchise, it's not as good...dang deck building... I'd have to say that Super Mario Sunshine isn't as good as everyone says. It's completely outclassed by SMG in every way possible and people recently have been fangasming over it all the time. |

But, I agree on the Metroid thing. I also don't like sports games. I love sports, but, the games I despise. |

Meh, Phantom Hourglass is okay, but not amazing. I actually haven't played the other two. *flameshield*
I like old sports games (Blades of Steel for the NES is ossim), but the recent ones are all the same. There's nothing wrong with them except that the same few games are released every year with no reason to buy them other than the rosters, which don't affect anything really. I myself like Metroid, but I suppose I'm not a bad enough dude to really get into it; I've played Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 3, but I haven't gotten near completing either and I haven't had the urge to pick either up again. |

I don't like recent sports games because they're the same thing every year with updated rosters, but old-school sports games are awesome. Ohoops said basically the same thing twice.
I don't think war-based first-person shooters need to keep getting the praise they get because it's an overused idea. It's not that they're bad games, it's that they all have the same concept. Last edited by piexing; June 6, 2010 at 03:23:19 PM. |
